Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly specially night staff ( 2 gentlemen’s Barosz and Sasha) very funny and superb service. We had lovely apartment, is big size with 2 showers, 2 Ex and large balcony with beautiful view of Mountains. Breakfast was lovely, big variety, there is something for everyone. Bus stop is front of hotel, running on time every 20.min. We went snowboarding so our lift passes included free bus ride to go Mayernhofen. Hotel have lovely saunas. Thank you to all staff for excellent hospitality, looking for to visit you again!
Booked through Sunweb, the hotel looks nice. Room was good and clean. The shower was excellent. The sauna is a nice place to relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast is good and the restaurant serves nice dishes at dinner. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel and ski depot in the hotel
My husband stayed here with some friends. It was booked as part of last-minute ski deal including ski-pass, breakfast and dinner. They stayed in one of the remodeled apartments. The apartment had 2 double beds (one was a pull-out) and 2 bathrooms. They were very happy with the whole arrangement. The apt was new clean and spacious. The food was excellent, very extensive dinner each night. My husband was especially impressed with the friendly service which he normally only sees in the US. His friends also enjoyed the sauna facilities.
I am aware that my review may contrast with the majority of reviews for this place, however it is based strictly on my own standards and expectations from such a property. First, the price. They charge virtually Ritz prices and provide Holiday Inn services at best. We booked a Jr Suite that was advertised as accommodating up to 4 persons, for roughly 400 Euros a night, and when we got there we were charged an extra 105 Euros per night for our 7 year old son. There was already an extra bed in the room and we barely consumed anything at the restaurant (our rate included breakfast which we did not fully use - more on that to follow). Not to mention the glacial behavior of the property ownership towards us particularly upon arrival when we mentioned the difficulty to find the property while driving at night and in foggy conditions. Having touched upon the service (or lack of), let me talk about the restaurant. We only had dinner once there, and breakfast twice. Food was mediocre at best, and breakfast was very basic, with a ba…
I was not accommodated, but only had dinner in Schrofenblick restaurant, twice. Every time the meals were perfect. Very nice salad bar. Waiters were friendly and efficient. Portions are big, fresh and very qualitative. Location looks also great, spotless, from the reception to the toilets.
Stayed for the snowbombing festival and thought this hotel was fantastic. Clean and spacious, just like the country. The rooms were big and clean. A short walk to the town, and ski lifts. Food was great. Thanks for putting up with us!
5* hotell dont need be built with glass, alumiinium, steel, plastic and gold. It gold be nice Alpihouse, with great staff and food and comfort. Quiet, privet, lot of room. Clean. Very nice sauna. Best place for the ski holiday. Besti time in Snowmombing, who knows what its mean. Be there!
The room was spacious and the cleaners very thorough. The Bar was open all the time when we were there. 24Hrs!! Smoke in there too :-) The staff for all meals were extremely polite and helpful. the food was also great value and one of the better steaks I have eaten.
We stayed here for skiing and felt well looked after by the staff during our visit. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast had plenty to chose from and we had a 5 course dinner each night, with a choice of 4 main courses make at breakfast. Ski buses go at least every 20 mins with options of going to Horbergerbahn, Penken or Ahornbahn gondolas. Buses tend to stop around 5.20 so if you go for some Apres ski then it is probably taxi back (€8) The Zillertall area ski pass covers other resorts in the valley and we spent days at Kaltenbach, Hintertux and Zell am Ziller. All have their own character and are certainly worth visiting - the bus network and valley train make this easy. We skied 180km and barely the same piste twice which is more appealing that hitting the same runs repetitively. Looks to be a good area for the summer too with plenty of walking and mountain biking. …
We had a wonderful three day all inclusive break here in August. We never did anything this before, and we were really surprised how amazing this place is. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, fresh fruit left each day and a carafe of special water. The food was really good, breakfast, lunch 'Jause' and dinner, and the wine flowed freely: Gruener Veltiner and Blauer Zweigelt. Each day a guided tour was available, included in the package, and we went up a Glacier and heard lots of local stories from the lovely guide Thomas (Thank you, Thomas). I also used the gym in the hotel, and there was a Sauna world (we did not use it, August was too hot for Sauna). The staff was lovely and helpful and yes, thank you to all. I we had a really lovely time.
