Excellent stay here. Great spa and food. Bar could do with someone serving though. Hard to get a drink. Would return. Ten min walk to the gondola but bus stop right outside hotel and free with skipass
This hotel is really nice. The staff were very friendly always wanting to help. The breakfast was good everything that you could want. 2 coffee machines top tip use both at the same time for 2 cups of coffee. If you want a cup of tea then there is hot water and tea bags. Snack in the afternoon, it is there if you want it. The food in the evening was OK if you like that sort of food. Some of it was really nice and tasty some not so nice. The gym and spa areas are very good clean, with quiet areas. The ski room was clean and warm with your own lockable lockers. Your room was cleaned and tidied every day, which was nice to come back to. The only thing I can find not so good is the Wifi. It is not secure and the signal was poor in the room we stopped in. Apart from that one thing this hotel is in my opinion one of the best I have every stayed in.…
Lovely luxury hotel; rooms are beautiful, food is amazing, the spa and pool are top notch and the staff are just delightful. Ski bus right outside the door is a bonus. Also love the fact that it is child free.
Traditional looking hotel from the outside but hugely modern inside . Always a warm welcome from friendly staff . Beautifully appointed rooms and ultra modern pool area . A brilliant choice for a Ski trip due to location and very efficient personal heated lockers . Breakfast & Dinner are wonderful and varied . The bar area is nice with a great variation of drinks on offer at reasonable prices ( apart from the G&T ).
the hotel is divided in and old not renovated part and a new part. The old part is not what I expect as a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately I was in the old part. Breakfast is on a 4 star hotel level. Dinner is good - not exceptional but good. Wellness area is new and very good - a few little things that could be done better like larger towels - almost no daylight in this area, but very nice and modern style.
We were very disappointed by the hotel owner's attitude towards tourists. If you don't check out at 11, it's a disaster. You are only allowed to stay more in the hotel for a fee. The purpose of the vacation in this hotel was to spend New Year's Eve, but it was a bad decision. The organization of the New Year's Eve was very poor. Dinner started at 6:30 p.m. and of course it ended before 9 p.m. They told us that we had to vacate the tables because they had to prepare them for breakfast. I don't even want to comment on what music they played. At 00.00 they told us that we can go outside to see the fireworks of the other hotels, If we want. No organization. The hotel has a new building, but it also shows signs of the passage of time. Some of the staff is very ok, but the attitude of the others shows dissatisfaction, which obviously affects the well-being of us, the tourists. I think that the return of the hotel due to the construction of the spa will not last too long. Not worth the money. In my opinion.…
All of the staff were amazing the hotel and rooms are immaculate and its just the best hotel I've stayed in, i also had to go in a wheelchair for a few days and the hotel is easily accessible in the spa rooms and dinning areas
The Elisabeth Hotel was just incredible the inside of the hotel was just spectacular and the 2 incredible pianist who played lovely music at dinner was such a treat . And the receipt desk people are just brilliant they are very helpful when it comes to knowing what busses to get onto every morning to make shure you get to the gondola on time and also in the morning they are very good at telling you the weather and what trips are available to go on that day and also they allways say good morning to you when you walk past them . And the waiters are very funny and they do an excellent job. And the staff all together are just incredible. The facilities were just incredible the spa and the relaxing room also had water beds which were very comfortable to sleep on and you also got a blanket as well which was so soft and the way they had done the inside was so beautiful and it was also so peaceful. and the rooms were a 5* they were massive you had a double bed a sofa a coffee table and a massive shower and bath toub. and a big mirror to do your makeup in the morning and evening. Also thank you to the chefs for the meals were delightful, beautiful, amazing and the way they presented the food was just incredible. I was so delighted to be able to stay here with my family we had a brilliant time and the views are just incredible and I definitely recommend to anyone to stay here 👍💯 Hopefully we can come back here again …
On arrival at the hotel I received a warm welcome from the gentleman on reception and in no time he showed to to my very nice room on the front of the hotel. The room was clean and modern with a nice shower . The decor throughout is very nice there are 5 small dining rooms with nice linens On the first night they showed me to a table what is best described as an overflow area at dinner. It’s what they use for the afternoon snacks which were very nice the cakes were so good.I asked to be moved as I did not want to sit there for the week. And it was no problem at all. The food. It was a very varied and most nights was outstanding some nights the meat was under caoked for for me. The nights of the chicken and pork it was way to pink they did offer to cook it some more. Breakfast was outstanding a gentleman cooking eggs a wonderful selection of things on offer. The only drawback was there was only ONE yes one coffee machine for the whole Hotel not good for a hotel of this standard on the first morning I did ask for a pot of coffee and was told there was only the machine. The service from the waiters and waitresses was friendly always a smile, not so from the wine waiter or barman . Yes I would recommend this hotel as what they provide is outstanding .…
The Elizabeth Hotel is an elegant hotel with excellent service, in a convenient location in Mayrhofen in the beautiful Zillertal valley. I stayed for a week in August to do some hiking with my OH, and we both really appreciated the excellent hotel facilities (especially the stunning indoor pool), the friendly and welcoming staff, and the superb restaurant. I travel a lot on business, and what really made the Elizabeth stand out for me was the superb attention to detail. We arrived as part of a large group, and the hotel had all of our guest registration cards laid out ready, but rather than have everyone wait in a queue after a long journey, we were taken to the bar and provided with mocktails while we completed the registration details and then were given our room keys. It was all hassle-free. Similarly, the lovely Julianna took care of all of the guests in the restaurant, remembering everyone's names and nationality/languages. She really made us feel looked after and is a credit to the hotel. The qualify of ingredients and presentation in the five-course evening meals was something to really look forward to after a long hike, Fortunately, the portion sizes were sensible! Some of the other reviewers have commented on the rooms being a bit warm in summer (as they do not have air conditioning). We found that having the doors closed/locked but tilted open from the top provided sufficient ventilation to keep the room cool, and closing the electric shutters during the day while we were out hiking kept the room cool, so this wasn't a problem for us. I have previously stayed at some high-end hotels in the Alps, including the Schloss Lebenberg (Kitsbuhel) and Park Beausite (Zermatt), but the Elizabeth has now become my new favourite. We are planning to come back for two weeks in 2023!…
