This hotel is absolute great value. The location is perfect at the top of the hill all within 5 minutes walk of the penken and ahorn lifts. Opposite is a bus stop for the hintertux glacier bus. There are communal reception rooms on the ground floor. I think all rooms have a private balcony with great views. Room sizes are great, warm rooms, clean refurbished kitchen and bathroom sufficient storage space for clothes etc.. There is a boot room with boot warmer in the basement. We went self catering there is a fridge, microwave oven, hob all do the job perfectly. You are just left to get on with it. €100 Euro cash deposit required. Only negatives is that you pay a final cleaning bill of €35. There was no cleaning or towel change throughout our week stay. Not a major issue as we clean up after ourselves just could have done with some extra towels. There is no iron/ironing board or hairdryer so bring your own.

This was our first long stay ski holiday in Austria. We had the one bedroom appartement on the first floor. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome and small Tour in the building from the host. The appartement was very modern and very clean. For people, like us, who know the French standard in ski resorts for appartement/studio's this is a spacious appartement. Also the bed is big and long enough. In the bathroom there was a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The kitchen and living room is spacious with a sofa and table for dinner. In the kitchen was everything availabe (dishwasher, refrigerator, 4 kookers, coffeemachine, kettle) only not so many plates and glasses. We also had a big terrace with a view on the Penkenbahn and street. In the cellar is ski depot with sgoe heating. Landhaus Noal is located in the center of Mayrhofen. To the 2 big gondola's it's 3min walking, closest supermarket (Spar) is 4min. Also close to apres ski bars. In front of the building is the skibus that brings you to Finkenberg/Hintertuxer gletscher. Parkingspots are available, 2 in front on the street and 1 on the terrain.

Stayed here in april for snowbombing, run by a lovely couple who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. The actual apartment was great, two twin rooms, both en suit with excellent showers! And a well equiped kichen for self catering. Two balconies provided exquisite views of the surrounding mountains. The appartment is located directly across from ski hire and no more than ten minutes walk into the center where there are plenty of shops, takeaways resturants and a super market. There are two ski lifts located no more than 7 minutes walk away (in ski boots) and a third ski lift just a short bus ride away, the bus stop is right outside the Noal. I think that pretty much covers it! Please excuse any spelling errors i was watching indiana jones and the temple of doom.

Stayed here for one night after problems with other accommodation. Nice clean room with great hot shower and breakfast included. Continental style breakfast with bread, ham, cheese, yoghurts, juice etc. Very good value for money and perfect if you are just looking for b&b close to both gondolas in mayrhofen

Stayed feb/March 2013. package deal through Inghams. Run by young couple who met us when we arrived, checked us in and showed us to our rooms. The room was not amazing but was not terrible either...it was just what you needed for a ski holiday. a clean comfortable room to retire to after a day on the mountains. We had a room that over looked the bottom of the Ahorn run with big windows that opened in wards. Towels were provided but were looking a little worn but they were clean. Typical austrian twin bed which i find so comfortable but the pillows were not supportive enough. They go quite flat after about 5 mins. I'm taking my own in future as i think this is quite typical of European too though. Breakfast was simple but enough. fresh rolls, cheese ham, jams etc. help yourself to yoghurts meilk and cereal from the sideboard. Requiring Gluten free i gave the lady my rolls and she brought them out to me every morning and also offering me an egg, which my dad then asked if he could have one as well and they obliged. nothing was too much trouble for them. We were on a half board basis and dinner was taken around the corner in Hotel Brucke. sooooo yummy. Guesthouse has entrance into warm boot room to store skies and dry boots off over night. 5 min walk to both the Ahornbahn and the Penkenbahn. Bus stop is right outside the guesthouse for the both the town circle bus and also the bus that will take you to Hintertux Glacier. Although it is the opposite end of the village to the train station though so that will require a 10 min walk (20 in ski boots) or jump on the bus. There is no reason for me not to recommend as it served us well

Me, my partner& 2 friends stayed here from 23rd feb -2 march, after booking threw crystal ski. And have to say we couldn't have been given a better place to stay. Rooms had plenty space, lovely and warm, a balcony to sit out and have a beer after a days snowboarding looking strait up on to the ahorn, silent at night time, and a dry room for all our equipment at the end of the day. Breakfast is as what the other reviews say but we were more than happy with it and lovely service from the owners who were more than happy to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. We are very much considering booking into this guest house direct next time, is also perfectly positioned in the village for everything. Our main meal at night was in the strass sports hotel, a 5 min walk & was pretty awsum every night.

Perfect little apartment for a ski holiday. Location: Perfectly located. Green line bus stop to the glacier is outside the guesthouses front door. All other ski buses picked up outside hotel across the road. 5 min walk to Ahorn lift, 5/7 min walk to Penken lift. Food: We were half board. Breakfast was served in the guesthouse whilst dinner was served in the hotel Brucke which was situated a 2 minute walk to the right of the guesthouse. The breakfast was basic, typically Europeon with cereal, yoghurts, orange juice/tea/coffee, fresh roles with cheese, ham and hard boiled eggs. Personally I thought this was ample for a ski trip and had no complaints. Usually when we go on sun holidays we stay in 4-5 star all inclusive hotels which serve a large buffet and usual entail some 'show cooking'. We knew this wouldn't be the case with the Landhaus Noal as it is a small (ish) guesthouse. My partner requires Gluten Free meals and upon request the owners were very pleased to accomodate this request. Room: The room was very clean, and well maintained. The bed was a double bed and was very comfortable (memory foam mattress). Slightly dated TV but who goes on a ski holiday to watch TV?? There was 1 English channel which was BBC Entertainment. Resort: This was our 3rd time back to Mayrhofen. We love it!! If you are thinking of going then just book. There is so much ski area and the local transport (train and busses) are included in your lift pass ticket. I would strongly suggest skiing in the Penken, Horberg, Finkenberg area and also taking the train down to Zell em Ziller, Ramsau and even Eghalm. Getting on the green line bus to the Glacier is a must aswell as the scenery is spectacular and the ski runs are wide, open and ready for a fast days skiing. The guesthouse is run by a young (ish - mid 30's) couple who are extremely welcoming and friendly. They can not do enough for you. They speak perfect English! A great addition was the secure boot / ski room which had a heated boot rack. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse if you are looking for a nice friendly cosy little apartment located close to the lifts and bus stops.

We stayed here over Xmas, It was a lovely place with comfy rooms and the hosts were very nice. The only let down was the breakfast which wasn't really to my taste. great location, only minutes from both the main lifts!

Stayed at Landhaus Noal on a package ski holiday with Inghams. Loved the location: can walk to main gondola, ski bus stop outside. Our room was small, but functional and comfortable. The place is run by a youngish couple who both speak perfect English and are welcoming and polite. Secure ski room with boot dryer. One night some young guests were making noise and playing guitar at 2 am, but the owners interfered promptly and resolved the problem. What we absolutely hated is measly breakfast - the kind I have never encounted in such hospitable welcoming country as Austria. None of your "all you can eat buffet spread" with local produce we got so acustomed to in Austria. Each guest was allocated 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese, 2 cheap rolls and a boiled egg on request and 2 cheap rolls - all this was brought to your table along with pot of coffee. On the sideboard one could find and feast on some cornflakes, a pot or two of youghurt and cheap orange juice in a jug. Yum!

Stayed here with my sister and friend in January 2012. We had a lovely room with plenty of storage space for three ladies. There was a wrap around balcony which gave us added room. The breakfast was typically european, with cold meats, cheese, fresh bread rolls, muesli and yogurt. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff very friendly. The heated ski boot room was a great addition. The only downside was we would have liked a downstairs bathroom. The location was perfect, situated at the top of town away from the noise of late night revellers. The two gondolas were within 5 minute walk. The best apres ski bar is Brucke & Studel. Another lovely bar is Coup & More and The Steakhouse Restaurant is a really nice place to eat.
