Dear Christoph and staff, Thank you for a very nice stay in the shadow of the Corona virus. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - everything was perfect; rooms where nice and clean, excellent breakfast, location, etc. But more importantly; very very nice and friendly people. So, even though some of our travel party did not make it to Mayrhofen this time and the rest of us needed to depart early to head back to Denmark (for 14 days isolation), we really enjoyed staying with you and hopefully we will make it back for a full vacation one day. Spent four nights at this lovely aparthotel. It offers nice rooms, good beds, swimming pool, sauna and very friendly staff. Recommended if you don’t mind taking the bus to the slopes. The skiing is great
I cant reccomend this hotel enough, Every step if the way was dealt with in the very best manner, The reception time dealt with emails quickly and politely and could not have been more helpful. The accomadation was superb, clean, welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and every single person there was amazing with my group of 12 skiers. Location is a short walk to everything you could need. We visit atleast once a year to ski and had aFantastic tri, found our new regular hotel and will be a regular patron.. Many Thanks
We loved our stay with Christoph and his family which was a smooth process from the start. I enquired both directly to the hotel having read excellent Trip Advisor reviews and also using various travel booking sites as I always book accommodation, flights etc separately whenever we go on holiday so we get what we want and where we want to stay. The accommodation had excellent reviews along with the host Christoph and he always answered any queries I had before booking which was reassuring when we have a two and six year old. I knew we'd be looked after as he was so attentive on emails and made sure we would have a cotbed and a two bedroom apartment. When we arrived we were well looked after right from the start and showed to our room. There had been a mixup on the time we arrived in the evening which must have been from booking on the Booking.com website but Christoph immediately made us feel at home and showed us around the hotel. It was immaculately clean and very 'Austrian' which was brilliant and what we were hoping for. The photos on here really help to set the scene but it was even more beautiful when we got there and the garden and swimming pool and views were stunning. It's just a five minute walk into the town centre so many places to go to and eat and see. The cable cars run up and down the mountain every day from a few spots and also the train station is closeby and only 5-10 minutes walk away so you can explore the valley. I recommend getting a pass for the time you are there to save money and it's well worth doing. We loved Mayrhofen and especially our warm stay with Christoph. He would deliver fresh breads each morning or a full breakfast downstairs in the beautiful dining area which overlooked the garden and hills. Nothing was too much trouble. The saunas and swimming pool were perfect and we used almost every day. Again Christoph would put the sauna on whenever you wanted it if out wasn't the usual hours. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would love to in the future. It has everything you could wish for and more. Book early if you want to have a first-class holiday and hotel experience. You will not regret it!…
Everything's perfectly perfect... Rooms are "austrian - clean" (means you won't find any dust anywhere...), infrastructure's unbelievable (swimming pool, 2 sauna's, infrared cabin, relaxing rooms, garden, parking, landscapes, region, city of Mayrhofen... Christoph will answer your demand in a minute if you need...just call him or send him a message and he will appear as an hologram (but real) in front of your door with a smile...and an answer... wifi network ultra performant... If you wanna have fun and a lot of discoveries, don't hesitate, buy the Zillertal Aktiv card... it offers you mountain-cabins once a day and free access to swimming pools in the Zillertal area (we particularely appreciated the Fügen open air swimming pool). Wanna enjoy real Austria? Book a room in Landhaus Saint Joseph... you won't believe it ! Thank you for all Christoph... see you...…
My wife and I travel to the Alps each year to hike and experience the local traditions and culture. Landhaus St. Joseph exceeded our expectations. the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Traditional Austrian design and craftsmanship is all around. The furnishings are artful and charming. The apartment that we stayed in was perfect. Clean and very well thought out. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and spotless. We enjoyed the large balcony with great views of the local town and Alps. The location is perfect... far enough from the main tourist area to seem remote and quiet and close enough to walk to all the major locations and countless shops and restaurants. We walked each day from the Landhaus to the cable cars to launch on our high alpine hikes - how convenient! Our host was Cristoph who was always accessible and very friendly. Christoph provided great advice on where to go and what was going on in the local area... a great resource for travel planning. We will definitely visit again and again.…
We stayed here for 4 nights, in an apartment for 4 people. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for us all. It was great to have a kitchen area, which was well equipped with a dishwasher and we got fresh bread delivered every morning for breakfast. It was a little walk from the centre but right next to the ski bus stop so easy to get to the gondola for skiing. Also great to have a pool and sauna to ease the muscles after a long day on the slopes. The family that run the hotel are very friendly, would definitely recommend a stay here. Hopefully we’ll be back!
We've had a great stay in St. Joseph. Unfortunately we had to decrease our planned stay in Mayrhofen. Therefore we were very happy with the flexibility of Christophe and his willingness to adjust the initial booking. The appartment was clean and spacious. Very quiet and close to the restaurants and bars in Mayrhofen.
Beautiful clean, tidy spacious apartments-family of 5 so booked 2 x 1-bedroom apartments. Lovely swimming pool and garden area. Great location, quiet but still close to town. Christoph very helpful with advice on various activities.
We are a family of 4 (plus a guest) and have just spent a lovely week in Mayrhofen staying at the Landaus St. Joseph. We stayed in one of the very comfortable self catering apartments on the third floor which had a great view of the mountains from the huge kitchen windows and an outside balcony. The swimming pool and saunas in the basement were wonderful and we relaxed there every evening after a hard day on the mountains. Our host Christoph and his wife were very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home (thank you for lending us those gloves!). The St Joseph is a very short walk (about 5 minutes) from the centre of town which was perfect for us as it was just a little bit quieter there than it would be right in the town centre and we had lovely views of the town, its church and the mountains behind from our apartment. Looking forward to going back, perhaps for a walking trip outside ski season to explore this beautiful place.…
