We have been staying here for more than a week and each day I m grateful to each and everyone here at the hotel. The facilities are excellent and the food deserves a Micheline star. Some small nice touches make your stay here a real treat. I usually visit around a dozen hotels per year and this one will definitely be on my Top five list.
Thisis a truly great hotel with an excellent service level. We were in a spaceous suite with a balcony overlooking the village, with a large bed, sofa and bathroom with separate toilet room. Hotel is located close to the church at the beginning of the village, close to the tourist office. The half board option means that you get an excellent breakfast selection (rolls, fruits, selection of eggs, etc) as well as fine dining in the evening (a four coursemeal plus a salad starter) that varied across the days (and always with a vegetarian option). The dinners were really wonderful, made and served with care overlooked by the maitre d' with an eye for detail and a personal touch (welcoming us everytime). The hotel has an indoor and outdoor area where they served food and drinks. In the afternoon, they serve complimentary cakes, which were excellent as well. The spa is lovely, with an indoor and outdoor pool, and we booked several massages as these were wonderful too (especially after a long hot day of hiking). Parking garage was spaceous as well (which is not always the case in hotel parkings). Staff are very helpful and friendly. Only minus is that our suite did not have airconditioning (in a week when temperatures rose to 35°C), but the outdoor temperature at night is cool, sowe slept with the balcony door open. Definately recommended for everybody who wants to relax and explore the lovely Zillertal.…
We spent only one night here while hiking the Trans Alpine Trail….what a lovely hotel. Great breakfast and an even better dinner and so well looked after by Katharine, the maitre’de…our room was a junior suite overlooking the town square and the church….with a balcony that overlooked the indoor/outdoor pool and spa area. Wish we could have stayed at least another night or two. The staff was great especially the staff at reception.
Hotel is perfect. Suite is a great size. Spa is so spacious. Delicious and varied breakfast, Staff are lovely. Bus for both the Penkenbahn and the Ahornban stop just outside. Ski equipment room in the basement. We stayed here for snowbombing - central location but still in a quiet area. Will be back, maybe just a normal ski holiday next time though, so we can relax a bit more in the hotel in the evening after a long day skiing!
Can’t recommend this place enough. Extremely central and close to skii lifts, beautiful interior design in both the common areas and the rooms, super clean, friendly staff, great spa facilities and really good breakfast! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
We stayed at this hotel for a full week, and absolutely loved it. Above all, we highly appreciate the staff and service, which was superb. Everyone was kind and friendly, the reception always helpful, the housekeeping excellent, and the restaurant+bar staff exceeded every expectations to accommodate us with vegan options. We would like to thank Katherina, Sam, Emilia, Andrea, Ana, and really the entire staff, for the lovely experience. Apart from the above, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities at the hotel are excellent (Sauna, restaurant, bar,... ). The hotel is very vegan friendly, and the have great options for both breakfast and dinner (full menu). We look forward to stay there again ourselves and definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.…
We loved staying in this modern hotel, the guest rooms are lovely as are the common areas all decorated really well great taste and the owner apparently does his own art which adds a great fun vibe. The staff were mostly great (the odd moody and frank older members) and couldn’t do enough especially Jodi and Sam in the restaurant and Ana in the bar all made us feel very welcome and were great hosts for the week they all added to a fun time, made us laugh and created a great atmosphere. As with all hotels though it’s never perfect, we found there was quite a lot of noise (just general living noises toilet shower walking around, doors closing), but bearable. The boot room only had one seat which caused a slight delay getting out in the morning so more seating would be a bonus. Also they could do with refreshing things more often, we often found food bowls on the buffet both in the morning and evening had often run out and weren’t refreshed as was the drinking water in the spa always empty by about 5pm and never refilled. The salt scrub (which when there was very lovely for the steam room) wasn’t always present or again had run out. Therefore a little more attention in those areas would make it that little bit more special. But overall we would definitely visit again and hope the three staff members that made it special would be there again to greet us!…
This is an exceptional stylish hotel! The service was amazing from the moment we arrived. We were warmly greeted by reception staff and were offered a welcome drink on arrival which was a lovely touch. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the food in the restaurant was delicious, plentiful and creative. Everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Benita on reception helped us with all our queries and Ana at the Bar was very knowledgeable with drink recommendations and was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend this hotel.
We've just returned from a great 3 night stay at the Zillertalerhof. Can't fault it. The hotel's in fine condition and the hosting very impressive. The restaurant, bar, reception etc all spot on. Would highly recommend.
What a pleasure to arrive in this place surrounded by incredible firs ! Unfortunately, the expected standard for a 4-star hotel were not there for the restaurant. The food were ok but we were imposed half-board instead of A la carte and we were also imposed and placed in a section less design although there were many available tables in the nicer section... Breakfast was also very poor... We won’t recommend this hotel for people expecting a 4-star level.
