Lovely clean hotel. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We were able to borrow e-bikes from the hotel (small deposit). This included crash hats & locks with no added expense. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a room at the rear overlooking their lovely garden area and overlooks the Ahorn mountain. This room had been recently renovated. I recommend this hotel and will be returning. Location would also be good for skiing as the ski bus stops directly outside the hotel. Conveniently located for the town & train station.
Location was great on ski bus route. Hotel excellent quality with exceptional food, well presented fresh ingredients and relaxed comfortable atmosphere. All staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly. Service was professional and attentive by excellent staff. Rooms comfortable with balcony view into the valley and mountains. Ski room very convenient
We have returned after a weeks skiing and stayed at the Hotel Pramstraller. We could not have asked for more attentive and kind staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is warm, super comfortable and has a great sauna. The ski bus stops right outside which made things even easier. The food was lovely and plenty of it, just what was needed at the end of a day skiing. We we certainly be booking our stay there next year. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.
Myself and my partner stayed here for a long weekend in January. The room was huge with a bathroom to die for, it also had a corner sofa and a table, that to be honest we never used. The room was lovely and quiet with a small mountain view and a patio. Peter our waiter was a great guy, nothing was too much trouble and he worked very hard. The food was of a good standard and very varied, sometimes if I'm honest the amount of courses were too much, when exhausted from skiing and wanting just a main course and some sleep, the other courses kind of got in the way but you could just opt out. We never used the spa facilities unfortunately, we were too busy enjoying the apres ski but the hotel smelt lovely of essential oils. I would definitely return......next time though we will fly, it was a long old journey by car!…
This hotel made our ski holiday that little bit more special. The staff were lovely and very obliging and worked very well together to support their guests with their needs. There was a lovely and calm atmosphere which was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We would definitely recommend this hotel; it’s food, facilities (especially the spa), staff and location were all fantastic! If you’re here to ski, the ski bus A stops directly outside the hotel and drops you straight at the gondola and picks up the same for your return; these run every 15 minutes.
A group of 9 of us stayed here at the end of January 2020 and I think it is safe to say that each and every one of us was thoroughly impressed. The rooms, although slightly dated, were clean and well maintained. A nice little bar area and a very comfortable restaurant with a good selection of home cooked, hot food. The service was impeccable and a special mention has to go to Peter in the restaurant for this. A nice size boot room and the bus for the ski lifts stops right outside the door. All I all, would thoroughly recommend!
What a fantastic and fabulous welcome. We have just returned from a weeks stay at this home from home. There were 9 of us staying at this hotel restaurant during our stay in Austria. From the hotel facilities and rooms you could want for nothing more. We had the half board option at this hotel, although we’re still provided with a kitchenette in our rooms. Rooms were in a beautiful spectacular Austrian traditional style, very spacious, clean, comfy, practical with wonderful views. Everything was working in all of our rooms with no complaints so congratulations to the room and maintenance teams 👍. The half board option provided a great choice of meals that were all very tasty, generous in portions, hot and swiftly presented, again without one complaint from our group throughout the week, a huge achievement. The whole of the bar and catering team know their trade and know how to execute it to perfection, well done guys ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. A very special thank you to our waiter for the week who was friendly, welcoming, professional yet fun, you helped make our holiday Peter, thank you your a true expert. Keep up the outstanding work you’ve all created. …
One of the cleanest and most friendliest places I have ever stayed. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run establishment. Rooms maybe not the most up to date but spotlessly clean and maintained to an incredibly high standard. As for the restaurant what can I say Peter and his team worked tirelessly to provide an excellent offering every day. The service and quality were spot on. No wonder the restaurant was full every day with both guests and visitors. Keep up the superb work and look forward to seeing you all again in the future.
Booked 3 rooms for a week through Crystal Ski with my family. Paid a lot of money and was expecting 4 star rooms as shown on the Crystal website and Hotel website. Be careful ! as all 3 rooms we were allocated looked nothing like the photos shown, they were not 4 star. We were all disappointed and felt annoyed. The decor was old and dark, the bathroom was brown and needed updating old shower over the bath. (No walk in shower as per photos) There was a small kitchen unit with old brown cupboards which we wasn’t expecting but didn’t use as half board anyway. Room was small but could walk round the bed. Just feel that it’s unfair to advertise photos of rooms then not provide such rooms. The Restaurant was lovely and the food good. The only downside was the fact that you had to be seated for dinner by 7:30 !! If you liked apres ski this was a problem. Yet I saw people being seated to pay to eat in the restaurant at 8.30 but hotel guests had to arrive by 7.30. Hence we had to miss dinner at times. Regular ski bus right outside which was good, we used the lockers at the Penken about 50€ for a week. This was our 5th time at Mayrhofen but will not return to the hotel mainly because of the rooms and the 7:30 dinner restriction.…
What can we say. We spent Xmas with the fabulous people of Pramstaller. It would be rude not to mention those who we had contact t with. Hermann, Betina, Franz,Patrick ( a true Irish man), Peter & Anastasia & many others that were just the heart and soul of epic hotelier service. We arrived after delays and a hassled trip. Franz welcomed us with open arms and provided us with much needed food and wine way after hours that kicked off our stay in fabulous style. The next morning we arose to a warm "good morning" with super breakfast buffet. What followed was 7 days of pure warmth, great fun with no stone left untunrned. Each day we perched at the bar for a a beer after several hours of skiing. We looked over the kitchen staff preparing for evenings of hard work with ultimate grace and ease. As an old kitchen worker you just know what good looks like. We had several days of pampering and great fun. They even tolerated my rusty German. Altogether it was one of the most impressive and wonderful stays in my 50 years on this planet. Hats off to the whole team in Pramstaller. Hard work and attention to detail has paid off in spades. Vielen dank. Mark, Kathleen, Clara and Lucy…
