The hotel is great to base yourself for a walking holiday, the staff are great and the room is fantastic. Breakfast is wonderful and check in was very smooth. Mayrhofen is a great place and the hotel is centrally located.
Staff really friendly, plenty of food for breakfast, twin room 108 adequate size good shower with toiletries provided. good location to train station and town supermarket opposite ski bus outside. very good ski storage with plenty of boot warmers
Good hotel, nice rooms and beds. Very clean. Warm welcome. Good breakfast. Near to the centrum. Bus stop in front as well. We stayed with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay. Good price/quality. Would definitely recommend. Also very good and quick communication before about covid
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, well located, very clean. The atmosphere is calm and nice. The village is pretty relaxed at summer, but serves as a good base for many great hiking trails. Highly recommended.
Wee have just spent 2 nights at this wonderful accommodation. It's in a fabulous location, the room was quite large (Room 210) and we even had a balcony. There was free underground parking and the best part of all was the Buffet Breakfast. We've been traveling in Europe for 2.5 weeks in Italy, Austria and a little in Switzerland and this breakfast is by far the best. Would highly recommend this accommodation
we stayed in this hotel last September and I kept saying i must do a review . First of all i had to join up Trip advisor as i never do reviews, but i really wanted to as the hotel owner was so helpful. She went out of her way to help us. We had driven from the Uk via Germany, and our car developed a fault which was fun as it had just had a service. Landrovers are not supposed to breakdown. The hotel owner rang the local garage and arranged an appointment for us. This meant we had to stay a extra few days and she found us a room which was much bigger than the one we had previously and charged us the same rate as previously which had been a special offer. when the local garage could not fix the problem she told us where Land rover was located (a good few miles away) and we got the car fixed there. Landrover Uk quoted us three times the prices for the same job. The food at breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend staying there and it is very central to everything. They only do breakfasts but can recommend other places for dining ion the evening…
This was my second stay and yes it was as good as I remembered it, on this occasion there were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, The location is quiet, the staff were excellent and helpful, the rooms were spotless and refreshed every day, the breakfast was superb, it will be my first choice should i return to Mayrhofen, to sum our stay we all agreed it was easy, relaxed, and friendly.
We booked a double room with separate living room which was perfect for our family of three. Our room also had a large balcony facing the square which was a bonus to watch it snowing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The reception staff were very courteous and spoke english well, although could not recommend any restaurants. The hotel has a drying and ski room as befitting a winter destination and a small play area which would only be suitable for very young children Although close to the station it is a bit of a walk from the hotel to the Penkenbahn and even further to the Ahornbahn, particularly carrying ski gear. There are however frequent buses going past the hotel which do various loops around Mayrhofen to transport people to the lifts. The breakfast room is a nice space to dine in, the waitresses were friendly and there was a wide variety of food but no variety day to day. Only on one day (out of seven) was there a pastry available. And no matter which variety of coffee we ordered it tasted of chocolate which was strange. Such was the monotony that on one day we ended up treating ourselves to a paid breakfast at Kostner which is only a few minutes walk away (highly recommended)…
Nice hotel at the centre of Mayrhofen. Room includes access to large underground parking. Carpet in the room looked a bit old, but the toilet had been refurbished and was nice. Price includes breakfast, which was ample and diversified. Overall, a nice experience.
This was my second trip to Mayrhofen, but the first time that I had stayed at this hotel. For a start the hotel is only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the train station. My room was very spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The room was well furnished with ample wardrobe space, that also included a table and two nice chairs. It also had a balcony which was very nice to sit outdoors and eat a snack lunch. The bathroom was also well furnished with a good shower with plenty of room. Breakfast was something else. Scrambled eggs and bacon were available, along with a selction of breads, cheeses, hams/meats, cereals and fruits. What took me by surprise was the fact they offered 6, yes 6 different preserves! Another good point for me was the fact that your coffee (in a pot) was brought to your table. The waitress at breakfast was very helpful and polite, as were the ladies at reception that handled my checking in and departure. I would happily stay here again.…
