Well I like it....I like the staff, the location, the pool and spa, the shortish transfer, the snow conditions, the boot room, the bed linen, the towels, my usual room. Despite a new chef, who was very pleasant , the main course choices are a bit random! Fish twice in a week....not a goulash once! The afternoon snack was not...

Just got back from a week at the sportiv with crystal. We usually do catered chalets in France but were following the snow and obergurgl had the best. After an awful trip out ( no ones fault except the guy who lost his passport and delayed the whole trip) we arrived at 4 am. The reps had stayed up to...

Had a great week staying with my family at the Sportiv in late December. The skiing was very good and the resort is really nice. The Sportiv itself is also very good for a 3 star hotel. The biggest negative was the food. Breakfast is the usual European fayre with cold meats, cheeses etc. as well as bacon, scrambled eggs,...

A wonderful week spent at the Sportiv. It was my first time at the hotel and it will not be my last. It exceeded all expectations. Traditional Tyrolean décor right next to one of the main gondolas which takes you onto a long blue run (not good for a novice, but ok for those with at least 2/3 weeks skiing...

Stayed at the hotel over New Year and was a little apprehensive after reading some of the other reviews. The location was perfect, right next to the lift. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The food was absolutely fine and they really 'pushed the boat out' for New Year dinner. However, the staff were so friendly and couldn't do...

Another great week at the Sportiv. The location is one of the best in town. The Hotel is very clean. What puts the hotel apart from others are the professional, friendly staff who make your stay so relaxed and enjoyable. Alessio in particular deserves a special mention as Head of the Restaurant. Always helpful and going out of his way...

We visited this hotel over Christmas 2014, unfortunately my husband had an accident on the slopes and was unable to ski but the hotel staff and the Crystal Reps were particularly helpful and bent over backwards to make my husband as comfortable as possible. We required extra pillows which the staff provided even out of hours within 10 minutes, they...

Excellent hotel, very clean and traditional. Right next door to the gondola and a short bus ride to another gondola/chair lift. Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. A short walk from the main village, where there are more restaurants. However the main highlight was the spa! It was beautiful, with both saunas and steam rooms. A gorgeous pool,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sportiv and we were pleasantly surprised at the facilities on offer (the spar and gym in the crystal were awesome), closeness to the skiing and the quality and quantity of the food on offer. We arrived with a little bit of trepidation having read some of the reviews on here and also the...

The Sportiv hotel is generaly a good place to stay, ideal location, lovely Spa area, good bar and the room was basic but clean. Can't go wrong for the money. A lot of people mention the food, and yes it is a week point. I had a couple of cold evening meals. The night skiing is a must, and you...

“We paid for balcony but looked in back of hotel, so you could be lucky and get a reasonable view, but I would say save the access charge!”

“Our party had three rooms across the building and there was nothing to choose between them. Balconies? There is better fun elsewhere.”
