I have just returned from a week skiing staying at the Angerer Alm and I would highly recommend it. The hotel was perfect for our needs with friendly staff, wonderful food and a relaxed and inviting feel. Our restaurant waiting staff and the barman get especially mentioned for making out holiday really lovely as they looked after my friend and...

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and I went back for a reason. The hotel is in an amazing location less than 5 minutes walk from chair lifts and gondola. The accommodation is spacious with great views and immaculately clean. The facilities include a pool, jacuzzi, gym and health suite. The pool and jacuzzi are amazing after a long day...

Our favorite skiing area is Hochgurgl, and over the years we have stayed at its various hotels. This season we tried out the Angehrer Alm, which turned out to be a very good decision. The hotel is quite close to the major ski lift – about a five-minute walk across the hotel parking lot, across the street, and up a...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were very attentive and hospitable and children were particularly well catered for, with a free gift on leaving and a good children's menu. The hotel is well situated for the ski hire and the lifts which are at the end of the car park. The food for adults was...

We stayed at the Angerer Alm in Hochgurgl for the third time and we will definitely be back again. Great Austrian ambiance, great food, and well appointed and maintained rooms. They make you feel very welcome. This was a great base for skiing and maybe next time we will try a summer visit. It is adjacent to the ski lifts...

The hotel is family owned & family run (49 rooms) and the attention to detail is impressive. Every plate and glass bears the family logo and is presented at 'North' to your seating position. The hotel is big enough to have the facilities you expect but small enough for the staff to know your room number and name. The location...

The Angerer Alm is a modern-ish 4* skiing hotel in Hochgurgl, Austria. It may do something else in summer - I don't know. Hochgurgl is really just a group of hotels at an altitude of about 2200m and has immediate access to lifts taking you above 3000m. The hotel has about 50 rooms and is just across the road from...

This hotel is absolutely excellent. It is nicely remote from the slightly busier resort of Obergurgl, so if you're after party central you certainly won't find it here! The staff are very friendly, helpful and always eager to please. The food is exceptionally good. Six courses offered each evening with a great choice. Fabulous starter/appetiser with a Michelin star style...
