I dont know what motel the folks that gave motel 6 at 20 Palms such a bad review! My room was spotless! It was updated and all looked good and worked well. If you want to stay at a 5 star for 250 bucks knock yourself out! Jill at the front desk was the bomb! Very friendly and efficient. Location was perfect as well. I will be back! Tell Mr Bodette to leave the light on for me!

I'd never stayed at a Motel 6 before, but I saw that this property was half the price of the Holiday Inn Express across the street, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Clean room and got a decent night sleep. Sure, it feels cheap, but it also is cheap. If you're going for budget, this is a good choice.

We spent one night here on our way back to Arizona. Our stay started with a group of people in the back parking lot unloading bags of cans/bottles they had apparently collected that day, along with a host of other stuff (including a baby carriage and a large overstuffed chair). As we got out of our car, several "ladies" could be heard screaming insults at two men in the room above ours. This continued for about an hour, when we were informed that 3 parties were being evicted. As we left for dinner, several partially clothed individuals were now in the parking lot, wrapped in blankets. When we returned from dinner, only the bottles and a slew of garbage remained. We had a quiet night; but the next morning when at 7:00 a.m. we tried to shower, we had no hot water. None! Overall, it was not a good experience. The room was clean.

The rooms were clean. One big bar of soap. Basic towels. The pool and hot tub were nice. Price was not expensive. A walking distance pizza hut restaurant with a typical menu. It is a good choice for a short stay.

Great 3 storey motel that is very inexpensive and on the main highway. No toiletries, fridge or no coffee or tea machine. The floors needed washing, so wear shoes or slippers at all times. That said it was still okay.
