After an 11pm arrival, the first thing most visitors desire is a convenient, clean and well-priced accommodation. A quick ride into Kona and the hotel is easy to find. The hotel lobby looked friendly and inviting. Although the hotel is older, the rooms are clean and it was a great place to unwind after a long flight. It was a... More

We only booked for one night since we had bookings for the remaining days of our trip. Location is great for shopping and dining. The people there were very friendly and supportive. Parking a bit tight but doable. The room was small but comfortable. It appears clean. Only complaint was that the A/C was very loud just like at many... More

My wife and I enjoyed two (2) nights from the 9th to 11th of November 2016. Courteous staff, attentive housekeeping and a great location minutes walk to everything make this family owned hotel a real winner.

Stayed here with a friend nov. 2016 for two nights. The value is hard to beat- location is excellent. We did have problems with parking. It was full at night but the staff did they best they could to accommodate us when we couldn't find a spot- I'm sure dealing with parking issues is an ongoing saga for them but... More

Stayed 6 nights at this Hawaiian-owned hotel in room P-5 (pool level). Great value! Hotel is older & my room could use a refurb or refresh - bed comfy enough but seemed worn. Small, dated bathroom with plastic shower surround that has seen better days. Hot water in shower only really worked with no cold mixed in. Mini fridge didn't... More

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Kona. It is located in the center of Kailua-Kona. The hotel is clean but quite old and seems to be not renovated in the last time. We had a room on the reception-floor. The receptionist was very friendly. Many good restaurants are located nearby.

We booked this hotel from October 23rd to November 1st and were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is privately owned and is near everything you could possibly want in Kona (walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the pier). We had a room that faced the ocean on the 4th floor and it was wonderful. The desk staff greeted us immediately... More

Okay I'm here on my last night, and have reached my limit of patience. Hotel is good, great location, lots of food spots around, head to the sack n save for good poke. But when it comes to parking everything changes completely, in general parking in kona is so stupid, there are so many huge parking lots with enough spaces... More

Here's the thing. I travel a lot. I trust tripadvisor. I read all the reviews on hotels and expect a few to give a one when most give 4. Those people either have unrealistic expectations or bad luck. I also shop for clean and a good place to sleep at affordable prices so I knew Seaside wasn't going to wow... More

We only stayed our first night on the Big Island at this hotel, but I would've loved to spend our whole week there. The Kona Seaside Hotel is an older, privately owned hotel. From the moment we parked our car, we could tell that everything was immaculate, and the management took great pride in the property. The lobby was tastefully... More
