The hotel is near the centre of Kona and a great area for the beach and shops. Reception staff was helpful, the room was a good size as I request a high room and the balcony had a great view of the sea (got an even number) sorry can’t remember the number. The pool area was clean and relaxing after...

stayed here for weekend, front desk staff not that friendly, they seem to not enjoy their job. we checked in found the room with cheap amenities, plastic hanger, coffee maker that was totally rusted at the warmer plate area, cheap towels, however, good water pressure in shower and toilet. hundreds of small tiny ants all over our bathroom counter and...

Excellent location in central Kona a stroll away from the beach and shops and restaurants.Great friendly staff which reflect a family locally own hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable and great value for money. The pool is nice and refreshing after a day spend visiting around. There is also a free wifi internet connection in the lobby which is handy.

I stayed at the Kona seaside hotel for three nights. We arrived at 9am on the day of check in expecting just to leave my luggage. Luckily they were able to check us in early. The room was very nice with a large sunny balcony. The room was very clean and spacious. We opted to pay a small additional charge...

Excellent value and close to good restaurants and the rooms are clean. For just a short walk, there is a small beach just to the right of the pier. You can see yellow tangs, moorish idols, and other Hawaiian tropical fish at just 4 feet of water. There is also a small beach to the left of the pier but...

What a bargain. Kona Seaside sits right at the Kailua Kona pier, which is start and finish of the Ironman swim and start of Ironman Bike segment. This is also where King Kamehameha the Great lived in retirement until his death in 1819. Easy to walk to restaurants, including Kona Brewing Pub, and shops, including KTA supermarket. The hotel's inclusive...

Everything you need when travelling with kids. Cheap. Laundry on premises. Walm to everything you need. Each time we swam at beach we saw turtles. Staff could do with a happy pill. Some of the staff seem to live at the motel which makes for interesting viewing and listening poolside.

I stayed there the first day on Hawaii and the last two days of my vacation. Comfortable and clean, easy to find and close to so much! Nice pool and internet with computers so I was able to get my boarding pass printed in the lobby.

Pleasantly surprised with a large room, balcony overlooking pool and a quick walk past the pool puts you at the ocean. Walk across the street through the ABC store and experience a lovely smoothie at a little shop. Back to the street and multiple ocean views and excellent dining and shopping. Head up the street (instead of by the pool)...

Spacious room with two double beds, clean and decently fitted. It had a mini fridge and a coffee maker. Table and chairs to sit in the terrace. Free wi-fi in the lobby but not in the room, which is a bit inconvenient. It was reasonably cheap and it was centrally located, you could walk to the shopping area. Short drive...
