Hale Kona Kai is the perfect location for walking around Kona. We stayed in #208 and hearing and seeing the surf crashing against the rocks was awesome! The condo really needs some updating and it wouldn't take that much $$$. The pillows on the day bed are disgusting and smelly - Just change them out! Also, please replace the coffee...

This is an amazing place. It is on a quiet street, but a short walk from the bars and restaurants on Alii Drive. All the condos are ocean-front and the lanais are right above the rocks with tide pools and crashing waves. Our condo was very nicely decorated and well equipped. It had a separate bedroom, and a great kitchen....

This condo building is in a perfect location in Kona. A block from the main restaurants and shops yet on a quiet side street right on the ocean. You fall asleep listening to the waves. You can't swim right in front because it is too rocky but can walk less than a block to a public beach. The pool is...

This is a 36 unit condo building. All condos are 1 BR king bed with oceanfront views and balconies. We stayed in 405 which is very up to date, well furnished, and well kept. Never heard another neighbor, children are pretty non existent here, and the place is wonderfully relaxing. Within walking distance of all the restaurants in the touristy...

We had a good time in these condos on the water. The ocean front balcony was wonderful. We listened to music from the luau next door in the evenings. Our unit was comfortable and clean but older with a door handle coming off and few stocked items such as dish soap. But it was clean and the internet worked great...

I must begin by saying that I’m a long-time fan of Hale Kona Kai. It’s absolute oceanfront location on Kahakai Road, a stone’s throw from happening Ali’i Drive is fabulous. The property is well managed. Adeline and Terri at the Reception are absolutely lovely. The heated, seawater pool is amazing after a snorkel at Kahulu’u Beach. The gas BBQ is...

This oceanfront building is amazing, especially for the price! We were in unit 408 which is nicely updated. You can't beat the location for ability to walk to town! Hearing the ocean below and the music now and then from the Luau next door was such a " Hawaiian experience" Adeline made our booking so easy, even after I had...

We were here for 2 weeks in October and were so happy we picked this spot. It is not a 5 star fancy resort, this place is not new so some condos are not updated but every single condo faces the ocean with a lanai. It is walking distance to the heart of Kailua-Kona, overlooking the ocean and our condo...

We have visited Kona 7 times now and this is the first time we stayed in Unit 311 at the Hale Kona Kai. It is in the location we normally stay and it was perfect. The unit overlooks the lagoon between it and the Royal Kona Resort. The decor is wonderful, with ceiling fans, and a good size bed in...

We stayed in unit 313 of the Hale Kona Kai condominiums and found this to b ether ideal place to stay in Kona. The unit was close enough to the main shops and restaurants to be convenient but just out of the street noise and trafiic. The condo itself was beautifully decorated to give that taste of Hawaii and had...
