I write reviews in TA because I find them helpful when I travel. My inclination is not to write anything when we have a bad experience, but that makes everything a puff piece which does not help anyone. But I had a bad experience here--probably the only bad experience in years of reviewing B and Bs. This is a very clean,...

Staying in the studio at the 1st Class Bed and Breakfast is like staying with a friend, who provides an immaculately clean, well appointed studio and makes a concentrated effort to cater to your wants and needs (what hotel would ask if you'd like the coffee brewed stronger or weaker?). The B & B is located in a residential neighborhood,...

My wife and I just spent a week in the cottage and it was wonderful. Dolores is delightful and full of insight and knowledge regarding the Island of Hawaii. We have previously stayed in the Studio and it was equally as nice. As nice as the two units are, the best part of the visit was our conversations with Dolores. An...

We stayed at 1st class B and B for 3 night after the Christmas holiday. Dolores was delightful and very welcoming. The unit was exceptionally clean and had everything and anything we would need! Breakfast was yummy every morning and she made sure to check for dietary needs and likes and dislikes! It was a hidden little gem and would...

Well to start with the name fits this Bed and Breakfast perfectly. Everything at 1st class Bed & Breakfast is just perfect. We loved the cottage. It was spacious and tastefully decorated. Dolores had thought of everything from a cool box and paper plates for picnics to a torch in case of a power failure. The cottage was squeaky clean...

This B&B is well up on a hill, with good ocean views. Dolores makes you feel at home right away, and the breakfasts on the lanai (and evening chats) were excellent and relaxing. We stayed in the lower level of the house, which was nicely appointed and comfortable, with a small kitchen area and full refrigerator. Dolores was very helpful...

This comfortable, quiet little oasis is tucked away in a residential neighborhood in the hills above Kailua Kona. It's one of the most relaxing, charming, and enjoyable bed & breakfasts we have stayed in ever! Delores takes pride in taking excellent care of all of her guests needs. She runs a clean, safe, and beautiful B&B. We felt like we...

This spot is tucked away in a residential area high up on the hill overlooking Kona. Walking down to the cottage, equivalent to about 2 stories, brings you to a charming little abode. Once inside, the place is immaculate, beautifully furnished and comfortable as can be. Large kitchen area fully equipped except for a stove and oven (required, I'm sure)...

We started our trip with Dolores and ended our trip with her. The rest of our stay was at the Hilton Waikoloa which was lovely but 1st Class B&B was a great counterpoint. We couldn't wait to get back for Dolores excellent breakfasts on her lanai. We made new friends with her other guests and would definitely go back if...

We stayed at 1st Class B&B first in 1999 while waiting for friends to join us at a hotel. It was a Hawaiian experience in a real environment with fragrant breezes, peaceful surroundings, and lovely hospitality. We have returned in 2001,2003,2004,2007, and hope to return soon. Our pattern has been to stay with Dolores to get settled on the Island...
