Let's start with the positives. While not renovated, room was large with good sized kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. The Polynesian decor was charming without being kitschy. We stayed two nights and did not use the pool or other resort amenities, we enjoyed the location and it's proximity to the grocery store and Starbucks across the street. Our main...

This is a great location to stay to explore the Big Island. It is centrally located and easy to get to, very near the highway. The units are large and comfortable with everything you need. The grocery store is literally right across the street. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pools are nice and relaxing, restaurant is very small but good...

First time to the Big Island. Resort made it all worth going there. Resort staff was very friendly and happy to help us with any questions from food or sights to go see. The resort was amazing. Sitting on a well kept golf course. Units were perfect for us. Perfect lay out. We had 6 in the units. The beds...

Stayed at the Kona Coast Resort for two weeks and it was a tale of two resorts...1st week was in Building Room 15/203...a supposed renovated room at the very back of the complex with very sterile furnishings..no semblance of a view and multiple problems ....sand in our sheets, 2 toilets with bad seals running all the time, a sour milk/puke...

We were glad to return to Kona Coast Resort for our second trip to the Big Island because we enjoyed the laid back timeshare resort option. The units are currently going through remodeling where they are updating the furnishings with more modern furniture. We first time we came here (~ 3yrs ago) we stayed at the lower lot building closer...

So glad we stayed at this place as part of our Hawaiian Airlines Vacation Package. It was a very well laid out apartment with a patio and chaise loungers. Our TV was not as expected so we called and they brought another one right away. There was so much storage, I wished I had as much at home! So comfortable,...

We traded to stay at this location via our timeshare. Our first time in Hawaii and we were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our stay. The condo was very roomy, clean and comfortable. We got a one bedroom, which included a full kitchen, living room with a hide-a-bed and two bathrooms. It was just myself & husband so lots...

We were in a renovated 2 bdrm condo on the first floor in building 30. It was well equipped in the kitchen, there was a washer and dryer, and two good-sized bathrooms. Liked the hooks on the patio so you could hang a towel. There are barbecues scattered throughout. It took 4 tries to find one not out of gas...
