This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack for a family vacation. It is everything that you read in their advertisement, and more. We had the two top floor suites that include the wonderful porch that overlooks the ocean and White Sands Beach. Very comfortable and very clean - no surprises! It is equipped with so many nice accessories...

We have a property in Maui, but we like to visit other neighbouring islands as well. We chose the Big Island this time and stayed at the Sugar Shack in Kona based on a friend's recommendation. We didn't research the property at all based on the tip, so we didn't know much beforehand other than it was an excellent place...

Our stay at Kona Sugar Shack, "Anniversary Suite" was very comfortable and enjoyed. It was well supplied with everything needed... coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. The location was good for us and convenient to many good restaurants and activities. As in the instructions sent to renters "Before arrival, Stop at Safeway grocery store near the airport before...

We came to Kona to get married on a heavenly beach about 30 minutes from the house that the owners helped us find, as they recommended several different places for our beach wedding. The Kona Sugar Shack itself was everything we hoped for and more! It was perfect to accommodate our diverse group of 19 (including a baby and a...

We stayed here 5 nights in the mango suite. We didn't have ocean view from the condo/appartment, but instead we had privacy (which also can be good). The kitchen were ok, allthough I don't think the "portable" stove had been used for a while - it was a bit dusty... There is not a big oven - if you want...

This place was "PERFECT". We have a huge family so we rented the entire place. The owners provided just about everything you would need. The place was clean and beautiful. Best of all right across the street from the beach. A trollies stop just outside it's gate.

Great vacation place for a large group. The setting is beautiful and it's close to both a swimming and a snorkelling beach. It's easy to get to shopping and dining areas. Sitting in and around the pool Late in the afternoon, watching the sungo down was magical. Jae was very helpful in setting things up and John was very helpful...
