Hotel was OK. Breakfast every morning is just for 1 person. It's priced high enough that there's no value in the breakfast package. True Ocean Front room do not exist. All Ocean Front rooms look out over sprawling roof tops. The East tower is more of a parking lot view with Ocean to the left. The Laguna is OK, but...

Having read glowing reviews, we were eagerly anticipating our stay. It wasn't bad, but rather disappointing. Although we booked well in advance and are Marriott Rewards members, when we arrived at our room, which was just one floor up from the lobby, we found we had a view of a concrete roof. Ugh - so we didn't use our balcony...

I had a hard time deciding on how to rate this facility. I would probably gone with a 3.5 overall but felt 3 was too low as there is much to recommend this hotel. We spent a week staying here in an ocean front room. The room was clean and of good size and did face water but the view...

Check in was fast ,room clean. We had a ocean view which was great. These rooms get the sun all day so if you don't fancy the pool you can always stay on the balcony. The rooms where always cleaned no matter what time we got back. All the staff where friendly especially in the pool bar are.

Looks like an old Marriott that was downgraded to a Courtyard. Nice friendly service. Spent 3 days on Hawaii touring so it was a good base for that. HVAC needs replacement as we ran the AC consistently and could never get the musty damp smell out of the room.

My overall impression was very good. I recommend a room with ocean view. The hotel is on one end of Ali'i Drive, where all the restaurants and shops are and a step of the port, where the 'Atlantis Submarine Tour' and other boat-events start.

We often stay at King Kams due to its central location. We were disappointed to see that people checking in around us were offered free gifts and upgrades when we got nothing as we paid for the top of the line anyway... doesn't seem fair. Maybe next time we will book a cheap room and get the free upgrade. Parking...

While we do offer competitive rates with other hotels on the island, you may have overheard rates or discounts being applied the accounts of our Marriott Rewards members. Perfect location right on Alli Drive. Great restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Wonderful beach and pool area all the amenities. We've stayed here a couple of times and have always been pleased with the room. Great little outdoor bar for a quick snack and cocktail. There's also a nice convenience store on the property with everything imaginable.

This hotel is much better than most Courtyard's by Marriott. It had beautiful lobby areas with historic Hawaiian pictures, a great view of the ocean and a sandy beach lagoon right on the property. While all beaches in Hawaii are public, the convenience of this city located beach would be especially good for families with small children. It was the...

We stayed there on points 5-9 January 2016. The room was a little dated, but the staff and the stay was fantastic. Obvious that in Hawaii you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room, but it was a good hotel in a great location on the big island. We checked out early in the morning...
