We stayed for 3 nights in a private Room within the House and it was super relaxed and comfy. There's only one bathroom inside the house and one shower / wc outside but Heather (Owner / Manager) managed to get the shower times organized with a kind of schedule board. Guests can reserve a specific time of the day. Very...

We loved the Nauti Otter. With AK being full of cruise ship tourists in the summer, the Otter was a perfect way to escape the touristy feel and relax. We stayed in the Humpback Cottage and it was the best sleep we had on our entire trip. We had to rescuedule our original dates due to a fire up in...

Heather was so nice and a great host. Staying at the Nauti Otter was fun and memorable. My sister and I stayed in one of the cabins. We found it to be comfortable and pleasant. I appreciated all the suggestions from Heather about what to do in Seward and also interesting things to do while driving in from Anchorage.

Interesting, cute little hostel located a few miles north of Seward. Stayed here for 1x night with friends. Booked through website, which was functional, professional-looking, and hassle-free. Lots of options from single beds to private rooms, detached cabins (more like shacks in size), and even a converted RV sitting on the grounds. Facilities were austere but clean. Things are definitely...

I arrived last minute at the hostel on my way through Alaska and ended up spending all my time in Seward. This Hostel is very warm and welcoming. Heather is extremely nice and the hostel features many amenities. This was my first stay in a hostel and the beds are full size and cozy. I dozed as soon as i...

Heather sent us advance information that helped us plan our stay in Seward. We appreciated the classification of free things to do, the not so expensive and the expensive things to do, plus all the recommendations where to eat. She also got us discounted reservations for a kayaking morning with one of the local rentals. Heather was very gracious to...

I stayed at the Nauti Otter for 3 nights. The owner was super attentive and looked to help me out anyway possible. I stayed in a cabin and I thought it was great value for the price. Also the novelty to stay in place other than a standard motel always wins points with me. The place was very clean and...

My husband and I just spent Memorial weekend at the Nauti Otter and had the most amazing time! We've never been to a hostel or B&B, and this seemed like a sort of cool crossover of both! There are lots of options for your stay.....we chose to stay in a private room in the house. The room was great! There...

Great atmosphere! My husband and I enjoyed our 5 night stay. We had fun meeting other travelers, while cooking our meals in the kitchen. There was a nice selection of food available to us to make breakfast with each day. Heather was an excellent resource for activities to do in Seward.

I went in the beginning of June so it was the shoulder season. There were some guests but not that many. My friend and I had the attic to ourselves. There were at least 5 beds up there. The indoor bathroom was clean. I would not use the outhouse for your shower needs unless the indoor one is occupied. It...
