Had a lovely stay at Hôtel Le Sauvage. We felt very welcome, there was one man running reception and providing a waiter service, and he went out of his way to be helpful, fantastic service. Really charming 3* hotel, what we expected and more. Both the public areas and the rooms are comfortable and pleasant. Everywhere was very clean. Dinner...

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, so had a good sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect spot to spend the night after a long drive. As stated in a previous review the rooms on the top floor at the back have a good view of the church and are quiet. No road noise

The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and bright, recently remodeled. We liked our room, Chambre 49, especially for its great view of the abbey church across the tile roofs of the town. It’s on the top floor, and there’s an elevator. Ask for a room facing away from the street to avoid traffic noise.

We arrived late on Sunday Evening without a booking and rather than stay at a Motel, I asked if they could accommodate us which they did with a smile, even keeping the kitchen open a little late to feed us. A simple hotel, old-fashioned in a charming way, Clean and very comfortable.

The Hotel has a perfect location - just a halfway from Cote D'Azur to our home and only a few km from A7 highway. So after 500 km on a charged highway it was like an oasis! Calm, clean, spatious with a nice view on town's Abbey. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has a beautiful ancient interior and...

We visited the restaurant in the hotel Le Sauvage over the Easter period whilst staying in a Eurocamp property in Sennecey Le Grand. We arrived at 6:50pm and although the lights in the restaurant were all off we spoke to the proprietor on the desk and he opened the restaurant early for us. We dines with our 6 year old...

While definitively a 3 star, having stayed plenty of places, I found the hotel to be very nice and the staff very pleasant and excessively accommodating to our family. Not only would I stay there again, I would take the extra 10 min from the highway to get there. I think on needs to not consider the other review from...

Fab food...I had travelled with two small dogs, I was provided with a classic French style room, large clean and substantial. The hotel prepared some excellent food for the overnight stay, and although a little quiet as I was slightly out of season, I was happy to be able to chill after driving 400 miles! Had avery pleasant walk in...
