I stayed here for a conference and enjoyed the rooms, location and amenities. The staff were very helpful and the location was a good distance away from downtown and from the baseball and football stadiums.

We had booked their Guest room with 2 double beds for our stay but the room was a bit on the small side for a family of 4. Our room was very clean and modern which included a safe, small fridge, coffee machine (no microwave)....More

I've stayed at many Renaissance, Marriott, Ritz & JW properties, but this is not one that I can recommend. Yes, the staff still has the anticipated Marriott hospitality and they are friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are sub-par, although I understand they will be...More

The hotel is 1.3 miles from Safeco Field, so about a 30 minute walk. But it is all downhill from the hotel, and therefore all uphill on the return. If you are fit and the weather is nice, by all means walk there and maybe walk back.
If you would rather not walk, or only walk there, you can get a little help from the Seattle Link Light rail. There is a station (University Station) five blocks from the hotel, down Madison Street and up Third Street to Seneca. Buy a ticket in the station and ride the train southbound to Stadium station, then walk a couple blocks to Safeco.
Otherwise, the best option is Uber which you can catch at the hotel. Coming back after a game the supply will be slim, so grab a beer by the stadium and wait for 30 minutes before your return trip.
