Travelling with a school group, which had its pluses and minuses. The rooms were clean, if a little old-school backpacker (nothing looked like it was any different from my backpacking experiences in the 90s...many other places have updated a bit), and the shared facilities were good. Breakfasts and the kitchen were good and the lounge area small but comfortable. Location...

The staff was friendly, the location is amazing. Free breakfast was not very good definitly better to go out and buy it. Each bed had curtains and a plug. Rooms very small but ok. Bathrooms were quite dirty if you used it after 8 am. or in the afternoon. Location is simply amazing.

Overall I really liked this hostel. It's in a prime location making it easy to navigate the city. I like the fact they have private bathrooms and privacy curtains on the bed. It's 24 hour reception which is really convenient and it has a decent size common area and kitchen. I loved that the hostel organise lots of fun activities...

The location is amazing, right next to pike place market. The rooms were a good size and clean and the curtains on your bed for privacy was a great touch, I did seem to get given a smaller thinner blanket than everyone else in my room, but there is a very decent sized locker in each room. Staff were pretty...

I stayed here for just one night as I was attending a gig at the Show Box, conveniently just around the corner! First impressions were that the hostel was super clean, I liked the individual bathrooms, my room slept four people, the beds had curtains for privacy which I've not seen elsewhere so I loved this touch! I spent a...

They made a mistake, so when we got there to check-in they didn't have our reservation. That was quite lame cause whole city was fully booked. But they were really nice at reception...owner even offered us bed in his house, but than before midnight some people didn't show up so we got our bed in the hostel. Otherwise hostel is...

Across from Pike place market, easy walking distance to most amenities in downtown Seattle. -beds had individual lights/fan and privacy curtains. -reasonably priced. -seemed to have plenty of activities planned so lots opportunities to meet fellow travelers. Cons: -...

Upon arrival, the staff member was not very happy to be working so it seemed. I tried to check in and my credit card was previously charged for my stay before i arrived, i know this because i had already paid it off. So, it was a bit of a surprise when I was not allowed in. I didn't have...

First and Pike has always been the worst location in Seattle as far as street people hanging out and being dangerous. It is also fairly ugly. But it just across the street from the Pike Place market which is wonderful and deserves multiple visits. Also, the hostel is really wonderful and well managed. They keep it really clean and deserve...

Stayed here for 4 nights in 4 bed dorm. Good - privacy curtains, power points and lamp in each bunk - large lockers fitting suitcase and daybag - window and ventilation fan in room - very large bathrooms - wifi worked well - great location. Short walk from light rail when coming from airport. Walking distance to Pike Place Market,...
