The hotel is located near Pioneer Square, south of downtown Seattle. Rooms are a decent size, but decor is bland. There is a gym, but it only has cardio machines, free weights, two benches, and two Swiss balls; it isn't as good as the gyms at many other Marriott hotels. The restaurant is not very good (this is based only...

The staff here welcomed us and helped us immensely! They even gave us free bottle water! The rooms are clean and the linen fresh. The gift shop has a nice selection of eats and drinks. The rooms have a mini-fridge and there are the makings for early morning coffee. The bath is large and has a non-slip surface

This is an older hotel close to Pioneer Square but a bit of a walk back to the shopping district. Valet parking is very expensive with no other options. Our room was quiet as it was not facing on 2nd ave. Staff was very helpful. It was a short walk to the main stadiums. The area is a bit dodgy...

Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us. If guests do not want to valet park with us, there are other parking garages in the immediate area as well as metered street parking. We hope you stay with us again for the next sporting event! Laura Schles Front Office Manager

My husband and I were just going to find out the rates for the night, but the man at the front desk was just so very PLEASANT and very KIND to us. He smiled when we walked in, asked how he could help us, and was there anything else he could do for us? He never stopped smiling and he...

Easy to walk to from the Light Rail station, which is the best way to get to the hotel. We booked a suite, so no further upgrade with Gold Elite. The room was a really nice corner suite, with only one drawback from the older building - the windows are not very soundproof. If you are used to city noise,...

the hotel was good, but the valet parking situation was ludicrous!! called for the car... was told 20 mins.. when down in 15 mins.... waited another 1 1/2 hours before getting the car..... when you are paying $47.00 per night for parking, it kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth for the end of your trip......

Thank you for your review. On that particular Sunday we did have an issue with many drive in guests and our valet was understaffed. This was an anomaly and out of the ordinary for us. We have met with the valet company and reviewed the circumstances of that day to insure this does not reoccur. We apologize for the inconvenience...

The hotel was wonderful, the staff was great and everyone in the restaurant was wonderful as well! Good Job Marriott Team! The bistro made sure everyone was taken care of at all times, even when the random homeless person decides to make a visit, they made sure that they were out of there in seconds and not to bother any...

Thank you for your kind comments regarding our staff and service. We make a point of sharing our guest's comments with our associates. Being an historic building, some of our hotel rooms are on the smaller side. Conversely, we have some that are quite large and spacious. We hope you give us another opportunity if you return to the Seattle...

The Courtyard rooms, service and location is good. About a 15 minute walk to Pikes Market and 20 minutes to shopping area. The city itself has numourouse homeless people and it is evident everywhere in the downtown area. It is even more evident in the vicinity of this hotel. There were groups of 8 to 12 of them at one...

Thank you for your honest review of your stay. As you mentioned, there is a homeless population in the downtown area. Safety and security is a top priority for us, which is why we have security on property and a key activated elevators. Thank you again and we hope you stay with us again on your next visit to Seattle....

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a very good size, clean, modern and pleasant to stay in. The hotel also has a swimming pool and very reasonably priced washing machine/dryers in the basement. The staff are great, and the location is perfect for a short city break.
