outside grounds great - breakfast very good - staff a little to honest about the conditions - room at 80 degrees could not adjust then open windows and bugs in - college dorm smell in the room and shower you needed a wrench to turn on. Won't discuss the bed condition bust moved out the next morning

An absolutely beautiful place to stay in Seattle. The rooms are old-fashioned, not fancy at all, but clean and comfortable. It's the grounds that make Talaris special. Beautiful gardens, ponds, bald eagles, ducks, geese, tulips, daffodils, weeping willows, peace and quiet surround you. Truly a lovely place.

Comfortable and very clean, good bed, spacious room, beautiful grounds, amazing breakfast makes this a good place to stay for more than one night. The bathroom fixtures need updating and the room furniture (desk, night-stands, closet doors) were showing wear and could use some attention. These aspects detracted because they weren't in sync with the (admittedly) more important things about...

Pro: beautiful, quiet, and peaceful grounds; friendly, courteous and professional staff; remarkably nice breakfast. Con: central air conditioning in all guest rooms that cannot be adjusted by guest (except for rooms in the 'lodge', apparently). The blast of arctic wind coming up from floor, in April, could not be adjusted. Only remedy was to block the vent with our suitcase...

Very friendly staff, clean room, free parking, and great FREE breakfast! There are paths around the different hotel buildings with great landscape and views. There's a bald eagle nest on the property. The eagle has apparently been living there for the past four years. There are two bicycles to borrow free of charge, with a 14 mile bike path nearby....

It was amazing to find this lovely setting so close to downtown. The acreage of trees, ponds, lawns, and wildlife was beautiful and very peaceful. Breakfast is delicious, and served in a room with a wall of windows looking out at the pond and fountain. What a relaxing way to start a busy day!

Small (room and bathroom), outdated, ripped carpet, damaged floor heaters, small beds, etc. Only decent thing is that it is close to the Seattle Children's Hospital. Take your money and stay in Bellevue and drive.

The Conference Center is a little unusual. The grounds are very park-like, but it is located in the middle of a residential section of Seattle. The buildings are spread out around the grounds and blend into the park setting. It is very quiet and peaceful. My son, who I was visiting, lives a few blocks away. I could easily access...

Talaris Conference Center is in an excellent location for visitors to Seattle Children's Hospital. The Center provides a lovely breakfast in the mornings--complete with eagle watching opportunities--and this time around, we had a full kitchen in our unit as well. The staff is always warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this property.

Thank you for your warm review of your experience at Talaris. We are quite proud to partner with Children's Hospital to accommodate those that are here for their services. Our eagles are also one of our favorite nuances of the property. The full kitchen is very important to those that have long stays, and we hope you found the utensils,...
