My husband and I need a room because we were in town for the show "An American in Paris". For some reason many of the hotels we usually stayed in were booked. We remembered staying at the pensione earlier with my sister and her husband, who enjoy B&Bs. This time, we stayed in room 12, a lovely suite which overlooked...

The B'n'B is located in the middle of the hustle of first avenue and post alley/Pike place market, and yet the pensione is nice and quiet. It's neat and clean, the breakfast is simple but very delicious and Lindsey is very friendly and helpfull. We've enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back, if we were to visit Seattle again!

Outstanding location! Lindsey Nichols is a terrific proprietor, exceptionally friendly and helpful. Accommodations were enjoyably eclectic, comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms had as much personality as the rest of the lodging; they were shared, but there were plenty of them. Morning coffee was delicious... upholding Seattle's reputation. Parking was very convenient and VERY reasonable for downtown (don't forget to pick...

I can't say enough good things about this B&B. A friend and I stayed here while in town for a conference, and it was such a nice retreat. The antique decor is unique and beautiful, the resident dogs are adorable, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. There are three highlights: 1....

Comfortable vintage B&B in a fantastic location! Clean, quiet with a welcoming atmosphere, resident owner, and staff. Very comfortable common room to relax in. Above average continental breakfast with a generous fresh-cut fruit bowl, good bread and condiments, OJ and French-press coffee pot. Views from the common room and back deck are terrific! (See photos.) I will make it my...

The location is very good and directly around the corner of pike market place! The breakfast is ok, there is not a lot of choice, only strawberry jam and peanut butter every day. Unfortunately, one of the bagels we got served was very hard and dry, seemed to be 2 days old. The other bread was good and the bowl...

I'm so glad you enjoyed The Pensione..... If I remember correctly, I checked you in personally. You arrived well before check-in and we kept your luggage and then locked it into your room when it was made up for you. Our bread is fresh, it may have been in the warming oven a little too long, sorry about that. The...

My brother and I recently stayed in Pensione Nichols and thoroughly enjoyed it! Exactly as advertised with a little extra added charm. It's a very old, well kept building. The continental breakfast was very good with great coffee! The dining room/living room is gorgeous! With a big grand piano and a view that can't be beat! The location is also...

A true gem of a B&B in the heart of Pike Place Market. Comfortable, quiet, and charming with an accommodating proprietor ready to meet your every need. The view of Elliott Bay from the communal "living room" is spectacular! I can heartily recommend staying here!

A former Seattle resident, I'd often walked past Pensione Nichols and wished I had a reason to stay there. Moved to Portland, and found the opportunity this weekend, when I brought my sister up for her birthday. We shared a room with two very comfortable beds made up with down comforters and a variety of pillows. While it had no...
