I recently stayed here two nights with my son. The hotel is poorly marked and is about 1/4 mile outside Sainte-Mere-Eglise. It looks like it was assembled from a kit in the 1980's!. Having said that, although the rooms were pretty basic, they were clean and the location meant that it was very quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was...

We visited St Mere Eglise for the 70th anniversary of the D Day landings and visited this hotel for dinner. The staff were really helpful and welcoming and allowed us to bring our dog with us. We did book in advance as it was extremely busy, but our table was ready for us at 7.00 pm and we had a...

We stayed here for one night as part of our tour of the D-Day beaches. A tour, I might add, to commemorate the liberation of France. Therefore, you'd expect a slightly warmer welcome! Having said that, this hotel was not on it's own in that respect. Check in was fine, and the lady (who spoke good English) was very helpful....

The rooms were a bit tight, but fair for the price. Everything else about the hotel was perfect for our needs. We stopped here for a night in order to see Airborne Museum in St Mêre Eglise first thing next morning before moving onto other D-Day sights. The staff was very friendly and helped answer several questions, even spoke English...

The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the center of Sainte Mere Eglise and the D-Day Airborne Museum and a 10 minute drive to Utah Beach. For anyone interested in touring the U.S. D-Day beaches and airborne landing areas, this is an excellent location. The hotel and rooms are nice and clean, although nothing extravagant and rather basic....

It was very close to the places we wanted to visit and it had a good restaraunt. The breakfast was good too. The room was too little for 3 people. Not enough space for the luggage. It's ok for a short stay.

...........whilst the fella who checked us in was pleasant enough and very happy to advise us, our stay was spoiled by the somewhat curt attitude of a certain staff member who was quick to announce ( without being asked) that we had arrived too late to order any food (at 20.45), and when we pointed out that we had been...

Stayed here early April whilst working locally, found to be very clean and comfortable but a little compact. A bit noisy at night with doors banging etc., with guests comming and going. Restaurant ok, could do with a bit more variation. On the whole a very good budget hotel in a good location for sight seeing with plenty of history...

Nicely located near the village of Sainte-Mère-Eglise which is a good central base to visit the Cotentin. Hotel rooms are simple but comfortable. The breakfast is copious but a bit pricey. The hotel restaurant serve good food.

Went for a 3 days trip again, just like every 2 years. As we expected the hotel had not changed and was again fabulous. Very nice staff, good food and simple but nice rooms ! Situated at a 5 minutes walk from the centre of Sainte Mère Eglise, private parking lot in front of the hotel. Even met some lovely...
