Jeff was a fantastic host. He was easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. He also takes wonderful photos that are on display around the house. The room are pretty spacious with comfortable beds. A simple home cooked breakfast every morning was fantastic. Right on the bus line but be careful of weekend bus times as they differ....

I Stayed here with my son Mick where we prepared and organised the start of Micks epic road trip from Anchorage to Argentina via Prudoe Bay. Relaxed atmosphere, clean tidy facilities, great breakfast and super helpful and friendly hosts. Very central to all facilities. A big Thanks to host Jeff for your help and support, "the beater made it without...

This was our first stop in Alaska and Jeff made great. The room was nice and the breakfast was fantastic. We enjoy chatting with Jeff, Frenchy and some of her family. They were very helpful in getting us started on our Alaska adventure. It is located in town, so it is walking distance to many things or you can jump...

Karen and Jeff made the whole family feel welcome. So much so, that my kids (7+4) fell in love with her within the first hour. Rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast cooked to order and within an easy walk to coastal path. Frenchy is a mine of information, and has a big smile any time of the day.

It is easy to miss the sign from the road. Jeff and Karen make good hosts. The bath rooms are not ensuite except in one room where the shower and pot are actually inside the room. This was not what we wanted so we opted for the shared toilet. The rooms are a little small however ok for one night....

Jeff at Frenchy's was great. Hotels.com goofed up our reservation but Jeff accommodated our last minute stay request. Had a lovely time chatting with nice fellow visitors too. Jeff cooked up quite a breakfast the following morning. Highly recommend this place to people willing to venture off the beaten track!!

Have to share even though we didn't stay. Made reservation MONTHS ago for one final night stay in Anchorage. Didn't use TripAdvisor for research like I should have and went off the website she runs. Wasn't the smartest move. BandB's in Wyoming are a bit different than this and it was not what we were expecting. At. All. Arrived to...

Thank you for leaving a review! Even though we don't like it too much, and the information isn't quite perfect, we own it and don't have any trouble admitting our failures. No excuses for this one, we just weren't quite ready for guests yet after the long winter and failed to communicate that fact with our reservation holder. We are...

First of all, you do need to be aware that the bathrooms are not private, so if that is an issue, you may want to look elsewhere. If this is not a concern for you, and it really was not a hassle, Frenchy will provide you with true Alaskan hospitality. It seems like she knows everyone in Anchorage, and she...

close to the airport, great breakfast, great hostess will stay again when back in Anchorage 4 stars vs 5 because, although it was considered a private bathroom (and it technically was), a shower and stool/sink in the same room as the bed was not exactly what I was expecting. There certainly was no privacy. A shared bathroom was just outside...

Frenchy was an amazing and thoughtful host. She picked us up at the airport after a late flight and made us feel right at home. She even lent us bear spray for our camping trip, which we returned the following week. We looked forward to going back and saying hello to her! Will definitely be staying there on my next...
