The Gateway to the Splendors of Anchorage For my wife and I, we enjoy visiting places and getting around by every mode other than a car. It is a different, more in-depth way to explore and get a feel for a city. But, for this to be successful, location is paramount. Location can also up the cost tremendously so there...

We enjoyed our stay at Wildflower Inn. The location was perfect - just a few short blocks' walk from downtown. The Fireweed Room and bathroom were comfortable and updated. Our hosts were gracious and informative. And the breakfasts? Scrumptious and homemade! If we travel to Alaska again, we would definitely stay at Wildflower Inn.

My mother and I stayed in Anchorage during an Alaska/Yukon road trip. The location was perfect and the host made us feel at home. The space was lovely and comfortable, everything we were looking for after a few days on the road. The host was also a lovely cook and prepared the most delicious breakfast.

Larry was a gracious host. The bedroom was tastefully furnished and the bathroom is very modern. I also had the use of a separate lounge. Breakfast was great. I was also able to leave luggage here whilst I went on a trip to Katmai and collected it before I went on my trip to Kaktovik.

We had a fantastic time staying at A Wildflower Inn. The room was very large and the hosts were extremely accommodating, we ended up arriving earlier than anticipated, and were able to leave our bags there until after checkout when we were departing. Breakfast was served to all the guests staying at one time, and it was nice to get...

Could not have been more pleased with our stay. The accommodations were wonderful. We met some great people who were traveling from all over the world. Food was very special as well as healthy. Downtown Anchorage is within walking distance of B&B with great restaurants around. Owners very knowledgable about Alaska history.

My wife and I spent a total of three nights at the Wildflower Inn this October. The property is close to downtown and on a fairly busy street; however we were not disturbed by excessive overnight street noise. The Inn is a duplex that was built shortly after WWII and is in excellent condition and very comfortable with large rooms...

We arrived in the afternoon and were shown to our room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and the breakfast delicious. We asked for suggestions for supper and the they were helpful in making our decision. The b&b was close to downtown and we had no problems finding it.
