Very much enjoyed visiting with family friends - hidden with wild meadow, apples, lots of trees. Owner was concerned with protecting environment which I appreciated. Comfortable clean room with fireplace and little kitchen - even laundry - very much appreciated after our campout. Host family was friendly and welcomed us with a souvenir and walking map of the area! Will...

This B & B is the only place to stay while in Anchorage as far as I am concerned. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and accommodating. I stayed in the "Judge's Chambers" room and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and ambience. I enjoyed the breakfast muffins, cereal, tea, and milk provided for me in the suite's mini-fridge....

Terrific location, 15 min. from airport and 5 min. from downtown. Marty is a most gracious host. Fresh muffins and a variety of cereal in the room for breakfast, with milk and coffee. It's a small studio but plenty of room for two. Immaculately clean. The kitchenette is small but has everything you need for breakfast and snacks. Comfortable bed....

Marty and her daughters could not have been more hospitable upon our arrival. Not only does the apartment have everything you'd need to make a stay very comfortable, she even provided a welcome basket and a few grocery items to get us started. The grounds were beautiful, and Marty was kind enough to give us a little tour and interesting...

My family and I stayed in the executive suite, that features two separate bedrooms, one private bath, full living room, country kitchen, and laundry facilities. The rooms are cozy and confortable. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the Alaskan hospitality. Continental breakfast with delicious muffins. Very good location near downtown and the coast. Glad for the free wi-fi. We will recommend this...

I have waited over two weeks to review this property. I have the same conflicting thoughts as previous visitors. The overriding impression is one of a cluttered, barely maintained property. I felt unwelcome. I will not return. During my 3 week visit to Alaska, I stayed at 5 other establishments, all of which I reviewed and heartily recommended in separate...

Like previous reviews stated Raspberry meadows leaves one with rather mixed feelings. While the location is decent, price is acceptable and your the room and bathroom have a clean feel (when we arrived both beds had been made as I requested in email), there are several things that left me with my jaw wide open. First of all we had...

We have a "stay-with-a-friend" attitude and welcome guests with an Alaskan souvenir. In this case our two guests from Dubai received notecards from my daughter featuring our most famous female Alaskan artist. Receipts are provided on booking; additional copies on request. We are sorry we experienced some check-in confusion - we are not a hotel and were busy helping another...

This has to be one of the tougher reviews for me because I have mixed feelings regarding Raspberry Meadow. The positive: Marty and her daughters are lovely hosts although we only saw Marty twice in a five day stay. The home is situated in an established neighborhood a short walk from the coastal trail and a slightly longer walk to...

Thank you for your review. we are not a hotel, but a stay-with-a-friend B&B and are sorry you were not more satisfied and did not contact us on our cell. Your room, one of our least expensive with semi-private bath, half the cost of downtown hotels, was the former master bedroom for the attorney general, furnished with 100+ year old...

Unkempt, overgrown grounds, smelly, living room blocked off with accumulated junk, multiple rules posted all over the house, cluttered, dusty, food we would not eat, an ungracious, unwelcoming host. This was the only mistake I've made in choosing a b & b ever...and it was a beaut.

We are sorry we could not meet your expectations. When you made last minute medicinal/diet requests, we visited 3 stores trying to fulfill you request, but could not because of shopping constraints in Anchorage - this inability to fulfill these wishes clouded the visit. Our breakfast, as advertised offers a large variety of 10+ hot/cold cereals, juices, fruits, yogurts, coffees,...
