We stayed here for two nights to boat on Lake Mead and visit the Hoover Dam. After a long day on the lake we wanted to come back and swim in the pool. Pool was closed at 2pm when we returned due to weather. It was sprinkling outside so we ordered dinner and asked if it would open when the weather clears up. Staff said they would check when we asked around 6 and weather was perfect and sunny. Never got back to us and continued to keep the pool closed for no reason. We stayed in the middle of the week and the place was a ghost town. Not sure why they would keep the pool closed just because two people wanted to swim. Room was outdated and they still had things shut down because of COVID. Seems like they are a little behind the times here. Loved the area, just not the hotel.

The Wall ac unit didn’t cool the room. They offered to move us to another room but the air conditioning in that room was even worse. So we slept in a room that had a temperature of about 75 all night, very hard to go to sleep. I was up and down all night long trying to get the room to cool down not get cold just cool and I couldn’t do it. No one cleaned our room, changed our towels or even made the beds for all 3 days we were there. We requested hand towels at the front desk but they didn’t have any so they gave us bath towels instead. Everyday we had to request towels at the front desk. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good but the service was very, very slow. It took us about an hour and a half to eat dinner and they kept getting the order wrong. One person in our party ended up getting his food to go because they gave his food to someone else and it took way too long to get him the right food. We were already doing done eating before he got his food. If you’re going to stay here check the air conditioning out in your room before you unpack. If you set the ac to 64 it overheats and doesn’t cool below 75, very weird. I think they need to replace all the wall ac units. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and the technician responded very quickly in coming to our room to try to get the AC unit to work but couldn’t do it. Everybody that works there is very friendly though and I noticed they had a security guard in the parking lot to watch over peoples cars and boats which is good. The store is very nice and modern and the muffins are very tasty. We stay here when we go boating on the lake. I asked my kids if they wanted to try a different hotel next time but they said no. The don’t seem to mind all the problems.

This is a great hotel, it’s been partly refurbished so the restaurants and shop etc are very up and together. The huge lobby has a ski chalet vibe with huge beams and a stone fireplace. The room hadn’t been refurbished but was large and had a view of Lake Mead. Plus it was only $89!! We ate in the main restaurant and while the menu was simple, the burgers were very good and reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was a stopover for us between Zion NP and Death Valley so gave us the opportunity to visit the Hoover Dam and look over Lake Mead. We had intended to go down to the lake but there was a $25 charge to do this and as we only had limited time, we didn’t bother.

Pet rooms were deplorably dirty. They offered another room, but seemed totally unfazed by what the rooms condition. All good areas are closed. AC barely working in what we were told was a recently renovated room. The casinos throughout were basically empty. This is definitely a place barely hanging on and staff take no responsibility for the condition of rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - just for one night. The room was large and clean, and the hotel had a lot of character. The convenience store was fantastic, with lots of drink options and fresh pastries/doughnuts. Pool was good and quite shaded which was nice when travelling with children. We went to Boulder City for supper which was good, lots of food options.

This is a small multi casino hotel. Five tiny little casinos. The Cafe is excellent. The rooms are ok but the bed was the worst bed I have ever tried to sleep on. We checked out at midnight and drove Home to Las Vegas to sleep. It was horrible. You can not call directly to the hotel. No phone service! It ruined my visit there with friends! I completely wasted my time and money. If you like sleeping on what feels like a sheet of plywood have at it!

We saw a sign on 93 talking about a free soda. We all thought it sounded really cool so after driving like 45 minutes thought it would be cool to stop. Well guess what the soda machine was out supposedly and they refused to give us soda from any source except that one particular machine. Even though they were giving soda to players and there was a gift shop with a fountain across from the counter - no! They said. You’re not a player so no free soda. You can buy one from the shop. So they’re liars ! take down the billboard!

Hotel is super close to Hoover dam. I saw a number of families. Pool was very busy with families. Saw a number of folks coming and going with recreation gear. I'm not a gambler, but I did walk around the lobby and casino area. Area was clean and inviting. Lots of really neat pictures of Hoover Dam being built. All the staff where very friendly. Had a very good breakfast with very good service in the lobby restaurant. Room was just ok. Bed was comfortable. Clean room. Fridge and microwave in the room. Free wifi and was able to stream a movie. I was easily able to connect my Firestick to the TV. Unfortunately the room and the hotel area desperately needs updating. Shower smelled a bit musty. I'd definitely stay again.

Great experience after a long day of traveling. The hotel has a restaurant, casino, general store and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend it. We had an excellent meal, the front desk hotel check in was fast and very helpful.
