The hotel situated in a former post station has only 5 rooms decorated in a traditional provence style and offers a swimming pool, huge garden and a nice view. It's a great place to stay and relax away from big cities in a typical provence setting. The only drawback is that there is no restaurant, so one has to drive...

This was our second visit to La Garance, last year we stayed for 3 nights and this year we just returned from a week where we rented the whole house with our friends. It was truly a magical week and here is why: the hospitality of Regis and Chantal which included help in shopping at the nearby marché for the...

I stayed here recently as part of a group retreat. This house is lovely with a beautiful pool and nice rooms. It was August and very hot and the upstairs rooms could get quite warm. No a/c, but open windows and a fan in the room made it comfortable enough at night. The owners were not present during our stay...

La Garance is an exquisite Chambre d'hote located minutes from Avignon. The estate offers a pool and sitting area with overlooking the French countryside. Proprietors Regis and Chantal Sanglier are the most gracious hosts one could encounter. Regis's recommendation for our day/night sightseeing was absolutely perfect! Breakfasts were served in a quaint open-fronted room with a view of the pool...

We chose La Grance because of its proximity to attractions in Provence. We were delighted with the service and hospitality provided by Regis and Chantal Sanglier. The property is a 17th century farmhouse--completely updated. Open the windows for a cool breeze in the evening. We enjoyed nearby restaurants, including those in Isle de la Sorgue. Regis, who speaks English, serves...
