The rooms were unclean. The hallways smelled horribly of marijuana. It was so bad that the smell seeped into our rooms - it was so uncomfortable that we had to stay away from the hotel all day. The hallways were unkept, paint was peeling off the walls. The staff was very nice, but the same individual worked all three days we were there - only one person to cover it all. I felt sorry for her. There was no hot tub, no elevator and basically the breakfast was nothing but some old milk in a refrigerator. Don't waste your money!

Getaway from KC to do the zoo. Check in was smooth. Location was very close to the zoo. The Courtyard is kind of neat. The staff was nice. (Cons) Parking lot and street leading up to the hotel. The interior was very fun down. Bed had hair on the mattress and stains. Water pressure is not good. Sink leaked. Room condition was pretty bad. Pool area was run down and the water was filthy looking. They also overcharged me about $50. As a Loyal Choice member I definitely will not be staying there again. I ended up paying the price I could recieved at a 5 star hotel. Very disappointed.

Filthy. Unsafe. Unprofessional staff. Pai in advance and was given a room key to occupied room. After I told them than they stated they had no room for me and my family. Ten minutes they decide there is a kings suite. I had use a dead bolt and a chair up against the door to motel room. I felt very unsafe with all that was going on there.

Worst of the worst, I have never stayed at a hotel that was this filthy. Honestly sleep in my clothes and never took my shoes off. NO BREAKFAST AVAILABLE. No elevator for second floor. Would be better off sleeping in your car.

Place was filthy. Had to switch rooms because of smell and mold. Dead bugs everywhere, stains and tears on all carpets. Horrible breakfast. For a location that promotes the zoo and is obviously full of visitors, it should be cleaner and better cared for. Would not stay here again.
