Detailed Reviews
I will start by saying this is a nice looking hotel. They spent a good amount of time and money on the Peregrine theme and details. There are two lounges/bars with good but expensive drinks and was told there is a gym in the basement. No shuttle from the airport but it was only 4-4.5 miles so the taxi and lyft were both approximately $20 one way (taxi was a little more). The beds were too firm? hard for my preference but I still slept without too much pain. The pillows were way too soft, it was like they had no support at all. I had to ask for two more to make any impact at all. The major complaint (and I heard this from others) was the shower. There is an amazing rain shower head that gets you excited for a great shower but not once did the water coming out of that shower head get warm much the less hot. There was a second handheld shower attachment that you had to use, if you waited long enough (5 minutes or more at times) you would get warm water but forget about any water pressure even at the "strongest" massage setting. The shower looked great (big, nice fixtures) but was a big disappointment. There are also signs around the room in various places saying how they want to protect your visit and they would only have housekeeping if you requested it. Someone was in the room everyday. Sometimes they just switched out towels, sometimes they spread up the bed, you never knew. Sometimes you would get all your towels replaced, sometimes some were missing. I ran out of tissues but they didn't replace them, I went to the front desk and they tried to give me a roll of toilet paper instead. The details were inconsistent. My other dislike was the desk chair, I don't know if you can really call it a desk chair other than it was pushed under the desk. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had to use but I needed to do some work in the evenings so I did the best I could. I think they bought them to fit the decor but they were completely impractical for doing work. I felt safe in this location, the staff were for the most part polite and professional, after I asked about water they let me know it was free (the remaining items in the store were predictably WAY overpriced). It is close enough to walk to and from the old market area.

Excellent Location. Easy parking across the street. The rooms have been very clean, cool, and comfortable. One thing to watch for is that I haven't had an in-room fridge. This is absolutely not a detraction, but it's worth knowing if you want to bring home dessert!

+1
Let me start by the first impression. The restored building is absolutely beautiful! Easy park out front to check in if needed, I used mobile checkin but still went to desk to get in and out parking card. The front desk staff are all very professional, helpful, and courteous. I did call on my way down and requested Diamond upgrade and was given one. The suite was very well appointed and the hardwood floors are beautiful(I sell flooring for a living). The bathroom was Cararra marble and ample sized with a separate room for toilet. Shower had a rainshower and regular head. Nespresso coffee maker and electric kettle for tea. 65” TVs in living and bedroom. All of the furnishings were high end and beautiful, very well decorated. Gym is large and nice. Everything you need for any type of workout you prefer. Evian water in a fridge for water. Habitat restaurant was excellent for breakfast and restaurant manager was very friendly and professional, just well run! If you like eggs Benedict get the Habitat Benedict. It was so tasty I had it all 3 mornings I was there!! A side of fresh berries and pineapple made for an excellent start to the day. The thing that stood out the most about my stay was when I stopped at the front desk to ask for more Nespresso pods as there was only 1 in my room. Since I was staying 3 nights I asked for 12 since they don’t have the rooms cleaned anymore daily. I later found out the hotel was out and the GM went to Starbucks specifically to fulfill my request and deliver to my room. That is the way service should be!! I really enjoyed my stay on all levels.

The Peregrine is a plush and stylish experience from the moment you step into the lobby. Our room overlooked the Peregrine mural, and we enjoyed the cozy glow that the market lights gave our room after dark. We chose to stay in and have dinner at the restaurant in the lobby, and we were disappointed with the overall ambience of the restaurant as it had a cafeteria like vibe to it even though the entrees were in the $20-$40 range. The food, service and drinks were excellent though! The room was very beautifully designed, the bed was so comfortable, and even the bathroom was incredibly stylish and high end.

Wonderful long dance competition weekend in Omaha at the Peregrine. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were yummy and the bathroom was plenty roomy! The hotel bar/ lounge was beautifully comfortable and chic. Maria works in the breakfast area and was the face of each day. Her attention to detail and focus on making sure each person started their day on the righ foot was a treat. Parking was a little pricy and the water pressure and temperature was a little lacking, but I hope to be back soon!

We started off here, firstly they lied about parking, diamond member services had to call to get them to clarify the pricing, not a good start. Then the room wasn't cleaned nor sealed as per the Hilton clean stay protocol. There is 3 of us so they were happy to move us to a "cleaned" single king room that sleeps 2 but nothing else... So my child sleeps on the floor or with us...
Thankfully the Hilton Omaha saved the day. If you shop within the Hilton brand, avoid their boutique hotels they don't adhere to the same standard as the chain leaders. Real shame.

Dear chrisjenx2001, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that you felt your room was not cleaned. I assure you that your room was cleaned and sanitized in the same way it is done at any other Hilton Hotel. Despite that, we offered to re-clean your room or move you to a different room however for some reason you declined both offers and instead asked us to "walk" you to a different hotel and pay for the charges, which was something unfortunately we were unable to accommodate. As to the parking charges, it is disclosed at our web site and at all the 3rd party web sites that parking is 25 dollars per night. I am very sorry that you did see the price or was not informed by your booking channel when made your reservation. I am sorry that you chose not to stay with us and left our hotel in the same day you checked in to stay somewhere else although we did try our best to make your experience a better one. I hope that you will give us another chance in near future. Respectfully yours,

So this hotel was very clean and nice. I can’t really say one thing negative. The staff was wonderful. The check in was easy and I had special treats as a diamond member which is always nice because just because I travel all the time doesn’t mean I’m rich so free drinks and food always makes me happy. The room was cute and comfortable and because of a bad view of a building they painted a huge peregrine on the wall. Very artsy and a smart way to improve that problem. Not every hotel room can have the perfect view. Plus I could change clothes and not close the curtains. Lemonade!!!
They had a roof top bar but it was too festive for me that night (wedding I think). But it was very pretty. Breakfast was great. Really great. Best part of the visit was Denise who was super great when we checked out and took a shirt off the mannequin for me because it was the last one! She “treated” me and my daughter very well! Love my earrings and immediately put them on. I love people who love people and it’s unexpected gestures like yours Denise, that make life a little better. I really appreciate your kindness. All in all this hotel was perfect for me and my daughter as a quick one night stop on our way from NY TO LA. Highly recommend! Oh and went to “”Gather” for dinner. Wow best food so far.

This is in a perfect location for downtown Omaha and very close to the Old Market, we had a wonderful 2 night stay, June 14th and June 15th which is around the time of the College World Series, although we were in town for a wedding. All hotels were pretty much sold out, we had booked early but thought our daughter's were traveling with us and booked a room with 2 queens, they did not end up traveling with us so when we checked in we asked if we could have a room with a King bed. This was a challenge for the two ladies working the front desk because the hotel was practically sold out, they worked diligently to locate a vacant king room in the hotel and we were extremely happy when they did. All the staff were courteous and friendly, it is a lovely smallish hotel with a rooftop bar which was perfect for an end of evening nightcap. We used the hotel restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed perfectly cooked poached eggs on our Eggs Benedict.

This hotel is a lovely old building and good location for the old market with plenty of restaurants. The reception area and bar are very nice. The rooms are a good size and clean but no fridges, but you can ask at reception and if they have any free, they will bring one to your room. Unfortunately for us this was the only good things about this hotel. The bathroom was freezing, and we stayed 4 nights and only had a luke warm shower the first morning the other three mornings they were cold and speaking to other guests they were the same. We also had a room to the right of the building at the end which had an alleyway. The first morning we were woken at just after 5 with a trash truck down that alley emptying bins it carried on for approximately an hour. We just thought ok it has to be done sometime and did not complain. This then happened again the next morning, on asking at reception they assured us it would not happen again during our stay. Unfortunately, we decided not to change rooms. How we wished we had as again at 5.07 am trash trucks came and went from this alley emptying their trash at which my husband went to reception to mention this, the receptionist even went on to say oh yes i know what you mean. We decided we needed a good night's sleep before driving home the next day and asked for a room on the other side of the hotel which they did let us move to. This room was much quieter the next morning although you still here the trash trucks coming and going but it was not nearly as loud. My husband also had breakfast one morning which he said was good but waited a long time for it as it seemed one person was taking the order, cooking it and serving. Overall, i don't think i would return to this hotel again.

As Hilton Diamond, I don't expect to always be upgraded but I certainly do not expect to be downgraded yet this is exactly what happened initially at check in. We arrived at the hotel early, around 1pm, and when I went to check in I specifically said that I knew I was early and the room may not be ready yet. The woman at the front desk said they did have a room ready and checked us in. However, when my husband and I went up to the room, it was clearly not the Falcon View room that we had booked and prepaid for. Instead, this was the smallest room on the floor based on the floor map on the door. I was never given an option of a downgraded room now or to wait for the room that I booked to be ready later. I would have chosen to wait. We immediately dragged our bags back downstairs and I said I was not happy with the room and wanted the room that I had booked and paid for. The woman at the front desk called housekeeping to see if there were any Falcon View rooms near ready (should that not have been her first step rather than just putting me in a lower tier room?) and the housekeeper came down to bring me to see if a room they were just finishing up and restocking would be ok. That made me feel ridiculous and high maintenance - all I wanted was the room that I had booked and already paid for - but I did appreciate the gesture. Not surprisingly, the Falcon View room was significantly larger than the one I was originally given with an additional bench and chaise as well as a larger bathroom.
Aside from the poor check in experience, we had issues with the hot water like other reviewers. While we were able to get hot water in our shower, it would vary between lukewarm and scalding hot without adjusting the temperature (I am guessing based on when others were turning their showers on and off).
The bright spot of our visit was Eva who was our server for breakfast on our last day and went above and beyond to accommodate us shortly before they closed.
We were in Omaha for my husband's grandfather's funeral so while it's not somewhere we travel to frequently, I am sure we will be back to visit family at some point and I would not stay at this property again.
