Discover our restaurants and lounges; from The Committee Chophouse to Petit Orleans, we offer the right flavors for the right moments. Live a little history when you walk into the modern restoration of the Cottonwood Room, made famous not only by its playful cocktails, but by the cottonwood tree art instillation which was, and is again, located in the heart of the lounge. After dining, wander through our public art collection, carefully curated by an Omaha local. When you are ready for bed, have a perfect night’s sleep in one of our premium guestrooms or suites.
Distinctive food and beverage options meet a comfortable, yet sophisticated environment in each of the hotel’s unique event spaces, making The Cottonwood the premier hotel to host friends, clients, and colleagues. Sunrise Yoga on the Rooftop Terrace, meetings in the expansive Gold Coast Ballroom, and outdoor breaks on the event lawn are just a few perks guests can look forward to experiencing. History is evident inside the rooftop Schimmel ballroom, proudly displaying original wood floors, hand-crafted plaster relief, expansive views of the city, and stunning outdoor terraces.
Want to explore the neighborhood? Welcome to the Blackstone District. The District’s classic structures along Farnam Street and those on the outlying blocks are home to restaurants, bars, and businesses that offer a variety of cuisines, entertainment, and modern-era services for patrons of all ages. All of these offerings are a short walk, or a quick Tuk-Tuk ride, away.
Room was great, as was the lounge. Check-in felt rushed without explanation of minibar, breakfast, or anything really. Disappointed the pool was already closed for the season. Used the bikes but they need some serious TLC. Nice workout room but the peloton has the wrong pedals on it- normal peloton cleats don’t work. Great location, friendly staff. Brunch service quite slow.
Building was built in 1916 and the Cottonwood opened in 2020. Beautifully decorated with the character and charm of the original building. My daughter and I were staying for a 3 night staycation. We choose the Kimpton mostly for their beautiful pool area but we were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Glass glasses. Beautiful, clean bathroom. Soft towels and bathrobes too. The service that was provided by the staff is what makes any good hotel, great. And that is what makes this hotel 5 stars. I had a problem with the TV in my room, they gave me a credit to use at the hotel, for the inconvenience, and they fixed the problem as well. Thank you Kevin:) They are accommodating when its in their power to do so. Thank you Britney for all my many questions:) Large groups, give them a chance to win you over. They will make your group feel like they are the most important ones there, That is how we felt. That is because of the main guy Matt-Thank you To top this review off we had to leave early because my mom broke her hip and the hotel was wonderful about making it work with priceline on reimbursing our last nights stay! I can't say enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you Kimpton Cottonwood for a wonderful staycation!!…
My wedding was a dream - the Kimpton was a fantastic venue for me and my guests. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the valet parking, as it took some time, but that's my only complaint. Food and service was amazing. Gabi crushed the wedding coordinating! We love her!
The Cottonwood Hotel is wonderful place to stay. It has been updated in a classically beautiful way. The rooms are luxurious with a comfy bed and a clean modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The brunch at the restaurant was great. The hotel is located in fun and convenient part of the city.
This is our third stay at Kimpton - always find ourselves rebooking. The staff is extremely helpful, the hotel is clean, the beds comfortable, the coffee bar in the morning is a wonderful added touch and the restaurants/bars are some of the best in town. The addition of the Pelotons were the initial draw for us! The only thing I’d say is lacking is a laundry facility - two washers, two dryers. We stay for 7-10 days at a time and it’s inconvenient (not to mention if you get too far outside the area, it’s questionable).
