I stayed in the corner room 518 from May 26-May 28, 2023. This hotel is in the old Federal building right next to the First National Tower building and Union Pacific headquarters. Nice size room, very quiet, I had a view of either the Union Pacific glass building or a parking garage. Not the best views. It has 2 TVs, stove, refrigerator, nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The couch cushion kept slipping off of it. Breakfast was ok, several items, except they did not have bacon or sausage itself, disappointed. The fitness room is in the basement, did not visit it though. You will have to pay for parking at the garage next door, otherwise there is metered street parking. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Omaha, blocks from the Old Market and CHI concert center, 10 minutes from Eppley Airport, they do have Shuttle service during certain hours. Staff were friendly, when I went to check out around 4am there was no one behind the desk, kept saying hello, no one answered, left a post-it-note on my keys that said checking out, as I was walking out the main door, I saw the front desk person coming from outside, so did not get a hard copy receipt, had to tell her that I checked out. …

We chose this hotel for its central location and proximity to Old Market. Although the property is aged (built In 1933) they do a meticulous job at keeping it clean—truly the cleanest hotel room I have seen in years. Our 6th floor suite was ample for sleep and relaxation. My wife and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast—nice variety of eggs, make-your-own waffles, pastries, juices and coffee. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got a great price on Hotwire. I would keep this at the top of my list for future travel to Omaha.

I am so impressed by the friendly, kind and understanding staff at the Residence Inn in Omaha. I was having terrible car issues and staff members worked tirelessly to ensure that the problems could be handled, I am especially thankful for Ian, who reassured my concerns, offered his own vehicle to jump the battery, his extensive help was thoroughly kind, a true shining star. The staff at this Residence Inn is outstanding.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Downtown Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting, for 6 nights. It was within walking distance of Old Market restaurants and the Chi Health Center where the annual meeting was held. Hot breakfast and all day coffee was included. The hotel shuttle service was handy and the drivers were pleasant. Karrie was particularly nice and helpful with great tips for sightseeing and food choices.

I had the best experience with a shuttle driver by the name of Carrie she gave me a couple different rides and both times she was very polite funny and got me to where I was going safe and happy. I hope she is my shuttle driver the next time I am there next month. I give her five stars.

Kerrie was a wonderful shuttle driver and was always prompt for pick and and drop offs. Very professional. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast included a wide variety of foods and tasted wonderful, especially the crispy potatoes.

Great staff and awesome hotel converted from 1930's Federal building. Breakfast bar every day with good selection. Suite with full kitchen including dishwasher. Full gym with free weights and cardio machines. Shuttle service available and would pick up and drop off anywhere within 3 miles of hotel. Great price for so many amenities!!!!

I was a toss up between a 4 star very good rating and a 5 star excellent rating. The pros were the staff, who always went above and beyond. Whether that be saving me some money by advising me to park next door for a cheaper rate than they charge, to giving me stuff for free when it took a while for them to serve me, to the breakfast staff working their socks off to tidy up and keep everything refreshed. The downsides are minor but the place is a little tired and worn at the edges and the parking situation is a little weird when their own staff are talking down the 'official' option. There was also one member of staff who really, really smelt and that was a bit awkward because it was super pungent and I get, it's a difficult conversation to have but it's a conversation that needs to be had. My room was great and spacious and clean with blackout blinds and although a little noisy with traffic, nothing my ear plugs couldn't handle. If I could I'd give it 4.5 but in the spirit of kindness, it's a 5 with caveats. …

Great hotel and very comfortable stay. I want to send special thanks to the winner of my 24-hours-in-Omaha work trip: Stephan, the amazing shuttle driver for the Residence Inn Omaha Downtown. Stephan welcomed me with a fast pick up, great drive and wonderful conversation from the airport. He knows the best places to eat and enjoy the city, and his pride in the area was evident as he described area hotspots. I was lucky enough to get a ride back to the airport from him the next day, and he was again a total pro and a total delight. Residence Inn- you have a treasure on your staff in this human! Give him a raise and/or have him run the place...or the country. :) Thanks to all of you for your hospitality during my short but very enjoyable time in Omaha!
