Traveled in for family trip with 2 young children and my spouse. Location is smack in the middle of down town. Others complained about the parking costing 15$ a day, but I'd sooner park my car in a secure garage than on the street down there. The homeless/general hooligan population downtown is pretty high. It's nice to be near so many shops and restaurants, but you are doing so by risking the rest. You need your room key to get in and out of the garage and elevators. I'm good with that to keep people who shouldn't be in there, out. Overall our room was good value for the price, location and purpose of our trip. The staff was helpful when we talked to them about several things. You do have to ask for room service, but that wasn't a big deal. We did on our 2nd day, really just to switch out towels and get more toilet paper and the trash taken out. We ate a hot breakfast there 2 out of our 3 days. It was preferable to a place we tried nearby and wasted money on. They put out all the essentials for food. A little unorganized, but that could largely be due to some of the other guests that weren't very considerate of their fellow visitors. Don't have any intent to visit Omaha again, but if we did, I'd stay here again. …

Hotel's Favourite
We have stayed at the Hyatt a couple times now and love the accommodations the hotel offers. The hotel is always clean and the staff are always extremely helpful. The hotel is walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and stores.

Within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants but still quiet enough for kids. Close to the zoo… clean and great breakfast too. Nice clean pool for the kids. Easy checkin and nice to have free parking in the garage

I arrived in the Old Market area on a Saturday afternoon (about an half-hour before 3pm check-in) and was stunned by the large number of people walking around. It’s nearly impossible to find a place to park. There are two spaces in front of Hyatt Place reserved 15 minutes for guests and I was fortunate to get one on a first pass-by. I had reserved a room, but, there wasn’t a room available, however, Samantha, at the desk, told me to come back in fifteen minutes. In the meantime, she gave me a garage ticket to park my car in the Hyatt Place garage, that was a huge help! When I came back, she had a room for me! A gold star for Samantha! I also requested a high floor and she got that for me. I find Hyatt Place to be an attractive hotel (I included two photos of the lobby and dining area) and it has free breakfast and a Business Center with computer for Internet browsing and checking in for an airline (not needed for this trip), both necessary amenities for me. My king bedroom was spacious with a seating area included. Everything was in working order. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance in the Old Market, as well as the Gene Leahy Mall, which I think is one of the best downtown urban parks in the country. It opened on July 1, 2022 and still looks new. Terrific landscaping, colorful structures, restroom, a cascading water feature, swings for two, slides, a canal, seating and tables under a pavilion, a large lawn for playing around, an amphitheater had recorded dance music and people dancing when I passed by. The park is impressive at first site. …

Had a great time seeing family going back to my home town of omaha. I loved the hotel and the staff the location is prime. As soon as you walk out your doors your in old market where there's great food and nice scenery. Is a small city compare to most but that's what gives it its charm

The hotel and room were filthy, the toilet and ac did not function properly and were loud. The staff was unapologetic and we had to take our own garbage out and go to the lobby everyday to get fresh towels. Just be kind to yourself and avoid this hotel there is nothing positive about it.

A great hotel with attached parking garage. Centered in old market area. Easy walk to restaurants and stores. Room was very clean and quiet. Stayed for our 42nd anniversary. Also a very good breakfast.

The location in Old Market is great. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. It was nice to have a corner sofa in addition to the 2 queen beds. We would definitely choose this as our place to stay if we come to Omaha again.
