One of the nicer Hampton Inns I have have stayed in based on quality and friendliness of staff. We are HH members and had checked in using a digital key, so our complimentary drinks and snacks were already in our room when we arrived. Have never had that happen anywhere else. Wish I had gotten the name of the front desk attendant to share here. The weekend breakfast was much better than average. Dennis takes great pride in making sure everything is stocked and ready to go and was very friendly and interesting to talk to. Would stay here every time I come to Omaha.

The property was nice, clean and well maintained. The room was great, albeit the bed were very firm. Plenty of towels and really enjoyed a clean room and overall property. At breakfast however, there was no hot food to eat in the breakfast area. I asked the cook, who was gracious enough to let me know what he had going and started some more food. As my family continued to stand around waiting for anything to be available to eat, the front desk manager came by and I commented "this is a joke" about the breakfast while still waiting quite a while. To which she took great offense and chose to yell at me that they had one person working and small kitchen. She was very triggered. I explained that it was breakfast time and that the hotel should plan accordingly to which she gave the old "we're doing the best we can" speech, which has been so common since covid. That does not make poor service acceptable at a Hilton branded property. Anyway, as I informed her that I was not pleased with the service and that I felt she was easily offended. To which she stormed off shaking her head. Not that anyone at Hilton actually cares, because I'm sure you're all doing the best you can given the circumstances. Circumstances like charging significant rates for hotel rooms, not delivering the services offered in the booking etc. Since the pandemic is over, that certainly can't be a circumstance any longer. I've grown weary of that excuse, especially in the hospitality industry. But I'm sure I'm in the wrong for expecting service and being ungrateful for the privilege to stay at a Hilton property.

I switched hotels in Omaha this summer and was very pleased to have a very nice experience at this hotel (Hampton Inn Omaha/West Dodge Road (Old Mill). The front desk experience was good, the room was where I selected and very clean. I felt very good about staying here. The property was well maintained. I like very much the Hilton app where you can check in on line and use your phone to unlock your hotel room. The pool was not available during this stay but looked nice. The complimentary continental breakfast was great and more than I expected. Social distancing and cleanliness was evident and I felt safe at this hotel. Only down thing is that the location is a bit hard to get to, but mostly because of the freeway configuration nearby. I experienced NO road or traffic noise. Overall, a very good experience. Thanks!

My husband got terrible bites over his arms after one night staying there. After the second night, he had them on his legs, too. There were blood smears on the sheets from the fresh bites. We asked to change rooms which they allowed us to. When he returned the keys to the first room there was a couple at the front desk complaining about cancelling their reservation because the pool and hot tub weren’t working. They asked my husband why he was returning his keys and he said he got bug bites all over his body. A bit later, the assistant manager Lisa Hudgins came to our room and told us they were evicting us because my husband was telling guests that we got bug bites. Lisa was irate, confrontational, and hostile. My husband, baby, dog, and I left. We were then charged for an extra night. Lisa told me that she would call me Monday before the final bill was sent through. She didn’t. After calling a few times and leaving messages, she never called me to let me know the results of the bed bugs.

Hilton customer service told us we had to call the hotel to find a resolution. I am so beaten down by this whole experience that after I write this review, I am done. I will never ever stay at Hampton Inn again. To kick a family out because we complained we had bed bugs into the cold of a Nebraska winter is just heartless. Lisa is a Karen. If you don’t believe me, look at the rest of the reviews. This was the only hotel we stayed at - where else could these bites have come from? I wash my hands of this now. I am still waiting on a call from Lisa, but I'm not holding my breath.

Now I am still cleaning sheets and making sure the bugs don't transfer. I'm completely emotionally drained and stressed and not able to enjoy the holiday.

We booked a King suite with a sofa bed for our family of 4 and checked in on Saturday night. When we entered our room the sofa was extremely dirty with some thing all over it that looked like dried snot (see pics). Also there was some plastic wrappers on the floor so they must not have vacuumed. We booked the room for 4 people and only had 2 towels. We took pictures and took them down to talk to the front desk. There we were told that they didn't have any other rooms available for us to move to and when we asked to have house keeping clean it for us, we were told that they do not have house keeping on the weekends. We advised that we would try to clean the room ourselves and asked for 2 more towels so we could have 1 for each of our kids. He told us they didn't have any more towels for us and again that they don't have house keeping on the weekends to wash the towels. He told us we could go get some pool towels from the pool. He said there was nothing else he could do. He offered to have the manager call us the next day and we clearly stated we wanted to speak with a manager and left our contact information. Next morning at checkout, the lady at the front desk asked how our stay was and we advised her of the specifics - she said she would also have the manger call me. I never received a call. They obviously need to fix cleaning policies at this hotel as I have never been expected to clean my own room and bring my own towels. I am a Hilton hotels member and have stayed at a lot of Hilton Brand hotels and this was by far the worst experience I've had. This was unbelievably disappointing, especially since our grand total was almost $180 for the night.

Upon checking in, we were given a room on the 4th floor that had a SCREAMING air conditioner fan. It was horrible and we left immediately to find another room. They apologized and gave us a room on the 3rd floor. It was quiet because the A/C was off. When we turned it on that night, it sounded like a flying saucer taking off. Again, it was the A/C fan. We called and told them we needed a new room for the remainder of our stay, but we agreed to wait until the next day since they were out of rooms. Back to the 4th floor and a nice quiet working a/c fan. They are fully aware they have problems with several rooms, but they have to wait for a repairman to do the work. Our remaining two nights were great, except I recommend someone get the floors cleaned. The carpet is looking a bit nasty and the bathroom floor tile grout is disgusting and black (it is supposed to be beige). The beds are okay, but the top duvet weighs too much and is very uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The desk staff was ok. We went down to the hot tub and found it to be disgusting... see photo. Why not drain it completely?? Also, there were no towels at the pool. I went to the front desk to ask for pool towels and was told they are no longer allowed access to the housekeeping room because things were being taken from it, and he was out of the pool towels that were left for him. We used our bath towels for the pool. Later, I asked for bath towels to shower and was told he was out of those; I'd have to wait until morning.

We ordered pizza and were eating with family at a table in the lobby and playing cards. I needed a piece of paper for keeping score and asked the desk clerk for a piece. He gladly gave me paper and informed me the lobby would be closing at 10pm (sooner if the storms we were receiving got bad enough). Never have I been told we would need to clear a hotel lobby at 10pm.

The morning of check out, I went to the front desk to collect bath towels needed from the night before. I stood at the desk for a few minutes and nobody was there. I had to peek around the corner to find the desk clerk in the back office at a computer. I asked for the towels and was told housekeeping would have to deliver them. It took 45 minutes for towels to be brought to the room. Never have I had so much trouble getting towels from a hotel.

The diamond status with Hilton brand isn't even worth this crap anymore.

Beware! Get a receipt upon checkout. We asked for one, but never got one. They stuck us with approx $300 in cleaning fees/taxes but we didn’t leave a mess anywhere. Had to exchange our own towels, take out our own trash-little or no housekeeping available.

After check in, the toilet would not flush. After we asked, we were informed that the water was off, due to a frozen pipe, but should be back on, soon. While un-packing, the fire alarm went off, and we had to evacuate. In the lobby, they said it was a false alarm, and that we could return to our room. It took a few hours for the water to come back on.

A few days later, we returned to, to find the water off, again. It was a few hours, before it came back on.

The heater was very loud, all the time. I even tried turning the thermostat off, and it was still just as loud. The reviews that I read had mentioned the heater/air conditioner noise, and I hoped it was isolated to a few rooms. I suspect that all of the rooms are equally loud.

One of the mornings came with a 4AM wake-up, with a ritalin-fueled gorilla stomping around the room above us. After I called the front desk, the stomping stopped, at least for an hour or so.

They repackaged used bar of soaps for us to use. Then the front desk lady decided to answer her cell phone when I was reporting the issue. Then the manager finally returned my calls after 3 messages left. It’s really disgusting to think they thought it’s be ok for us to use a bar of soap that another guest used to wash their private parts. Disgusting!!!!
