This was my first stay at this hotel, while I was in Omaha for a business trip.
The room was really quite large, which a nice kitchen area, king size bed, a convertible couch, a desk area towork, a large bathroom with a very large stall shower, and a dressing area.

I didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities, aside from the free hot breakfast in the morning (which was pretty good).

There are plenty of dining options within a short walk of the hotel, but the hotel itself does not have a restaurant or room service.

My biggest gripe about the hotel is that there is no room safe in the room. Given the size of the room, there are certainly plenty of places to put a room safe.

My other complaint is that I was not informed that house keeping only occur when you ask for it. When I didn't get house keeping service the first day, I figured it was an oversight. When I didn't get it the second day, I asked at the front-desk and was told that I have to request it.

We never feel that we can go wrong by staying at Marriott properties. For longer stays, we highly prefer the Residence Inn. Our stay at the Residence Inn Omaha Aksarban Village was no exception.

The location was actually pretty cool. We had initially planned to stay in Downtown Omaha, but were glad that we ended up at this location. It was right next to University of Nebraska at Omaha, and there were tons of great restaurants within walking distance - right across the street. The whole area seemed very safe - day and night - lots of folks out running, walking their dogs, or hanging out at the many local restaurants.

As for the property itself, all the staff we interacted with did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The front desk staff were extremely polite, flexible, and did everything that we asked. The cleaning staff were very nice, very sweet - always saying 'hello'. The breakfast staff were wonderful - my wife and I both loved the breakfasts - both the hot breakfast and cold breakfast items. The breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure that all the guests that came down during breakfast felt at home and we overheard the staff doing all kinds of little things - all the little, special requests that guests made - its the little things that really make the difference.

Our room was a King Bedroom Suite with full kitchen and an exceptionally large workspace area - long full desk, extremely long couch that likely doubles as a foldout bed. The kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom all felt spacious. My wife loved the bed and the pillows. We slept really well. The kitchen was well appointed with a good compliment of silverware, plate ware, bowls, and all the gadgets and gizmos we needed to prepare meals or heat up restaurant leftovers.

While I was away daily at conferences, my wife was able to work full-time from the room. Everything worked well, great fast internet, etc.

We had an excellent stay at Residence Inn Aksarban Village - as always, Marriott delivers a consistently high quality experience.

We rolled into the Residence Inn by Marriott late into the evening. We were tired from a long day on the road. Yet, the moment we walked into the hotel to check in, the service was super friendly and outstanding—a characteristic that was repeated throughout our short stay. The next day, the staff at reception continued to demonstrate upmost professionalism and friendliness. Even the gentleman in the breakfast area was quick to offer a helping hand when he saw I was having difficulty assembling everything for the family.

Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The desk was large and proved to be a great workspace. Everything in the room was working and easy-to-find. While we didn’t use much in the kitchenette, it was nice to know it was available if needed, and the extra space in the kitchen was sure nice. Parking was convenient and easy. We parked on the street without any issues, but at check in, they welcomed us to use their parking lot located opposite of the street.

Overall, we highly recommend this property, we will visit again should our travels bring us back through Omaha. Thank you for making it all just so comfortable…

Stayed here for several nights. Easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops and if you have a pet there is a large dog park across the street.
The hotel staff are helpful, but the whole place feels old and in need of a good cleaning. The vents in the living area and bathroom in my suite were dirty. The shower curtain was too short to keep water from getting on the floor, so they gave me extra bath mats to soak it up. AC barely kept the room at a tolerable temp, even with drapes all closed during the day. The breakfast was minimal with fruit that was not edible. Understand Covid limitations, but other hotels are doing a much better job. Seemed like Covid was an excuse for cutting corners.
This used to be a nice property, but it has gone way downhill.
The front desk staff here are very professional and trying to do their best at a facility that is simply not up to par.

Recently stayed here with our purebred registered show Collie so we could visit the eye specialist in Omaha. We were charged for damage to a chair we never used. We would not have even been alerted to this had it not come through out Marriott account. We requested photos and when management provided photos, it was evident it was a “well used” chair but we were charged full new price. We asked for the date the chair was purchased and how long it had been in service to arrive at a depreciated value, but management refused. To think that a purebred show Collie would jump up on a rolling desk chair like a performing circus animal is ridiculous. Additionally, the toilet worked so poorly that we had to use the public one the last day of our stay. There was damage to another chair in our room and there were also bulbs that were burnt out. Parking was horrible. We only stayed here because it was a Marriott property that was supposed to be pet friendly. I have Lifetime Gold Elite Status and I’ve never encountered an issue like this ever. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this hotel.

Convenient Bonvoy App check in and use phone to open door. Bed mattresses and linens are great. Room is like a well equipped dorm room. Bath layout very good, great lighting, good counter space. Kitchen had enough setup for light cooking. Furnishings are worn and the sofa bed couch felt like someone stood on it and bent the mattress support. Bedside lamps, one had peeled off decal and other was worn, however, lamp has overall and task light so very useful. Plenty of plug ins for your electronic devices. Wifi adequate. Rugs could use a cleaning. Television channel selection average but would be easy to stream a subscription. Lobby breakfast reasonable and staff friendly and attentive. Easy parking. There is ambiant noise from ac and local music so bring airplugs for quieter sleeping. We paid about $200/night all taxes included for king studio.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location was good. The hotel seems a little run down. Breakfast is only served for 2 hours, from 6:30-8:30 am. All the other Residence Inns and Fairfield Inns we have stayed in serve breakfast for 3 hours. Breakfast options are Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, oatmeal, muffins, milk, bagels, bread and coffee. There is a toaster. Our first morning, only plastic forks were available. I asked the attendant for plastic spoons and knives and he said they didn’t have any. Our second morning, there were plastic forks and spoons (still no knives). Staff could be friendlier. They were not very warm and welcoming.

The room had clearly been broken into as there was putty filling where the door had been pried open. The deadbolt lock did not work. There was no shampoo or coffee (regular) in the room. The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned, there was toothpaste spatter on it. The floor of both the kitchen and bath were extremely slick as if soap or clearer had not been completely wiped off. These issues were reported to the front desk, however other than "we are sorry" nothing was offered or done. This was also reported to Marriott who also said "we are sorry". The owners of the property

We stayed overnight as we were just passing through. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good- breakfast burritos, egg and spinach soufflé, plus the waffle makers and cereal. It’s pet friendly, but there is a pretty steep fee per pet. We did see a huge dog park right across the street which we noticed as we were leaving.
Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable.
The kitchen staff was so kind and personable. They replaced empty coffees immediately and were on top of everything.
Indoor pool (no hot tub) was clean and a decent size.
There are a ton of restaurants and cute little breakfast places with outdoor seating. If you have the time, it’s worth exploring.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would stay again!

We visited from out of state for a family wedding. We travel a lot and have stayed in many Marriott properties but this one was one of the worst managed we have seen. The friendly people at the desk pleasantly told us the shipment for shampoo was late so we have no shampoo to provide for your stay. It seems the problem is easily fixed by sending an employee down the street to the Walgreens to buy out their travel size shampoo. No upper management available to solve problems. The grounds were poorly kept badly in need of a gardener and facility looked a little run down.

On the bright side the location and area are nice with a lot of fun things to do. And the staff was friendly but couldn’t help me with the shampoo problem. As a Bonvoy member, this causes me to reconsider Residence Inns for future stays. If I had known there was no shampoo, I would’ve cancelled and stayed at the Aloft down the street.
