Detailed Reviews
Luxury at its best. Walking in to the lobby certainly was very upscale. Not sure how we got the price that we did, but we didn't pay anywhere close to the price listed on Trip Advisor. Christopher greeted us, was in a suit and tie! You don't see that much anymore (maybe you still do in upscale hotels). Our second day there, they had a freak rainstorm that dumped 2 1/2 inches of rain in less than 45 minutes. When we got back to the hotel, the lobby was flooding. They were immediately trying to stop the water from flowing in, the housekeeping supervisor (?) called for "all hands on deck", basically, announcing he needed everyone in the lobby immediately. It was amazing to see all the housekeeping staff immediately show up at the same time. They ended up getting wet vacs (had to go out and buy 2) and had a crew coming in the next day (when we checked out) to clean the carpets and get the rest of the water out. Even at check out, the manager was standing there in a suit and tie, asked what room we had been in. Told us we were good to go (without even checking the computer... he seemed to know who we were) and to have a "dry day". Great experience. They did have a huge indoor pool, but we did not try it. Great hotel. I hope they do well. Easy access to interstates. They had breakfast, but it was $9.99 per person cooked to order. We did not partake.

Walking in...the place looked rather impressive. But there were issues. Night 1, after 9pm, I had to call desk because we realized a table lamp and the tv didn't work. The maintenance man responded quickly and was awesome. He asked if we would be willing to change rooms but I convinced him to just bring us a new tv and call it good. All days, we couldn't get cold water or hot water out of sink or shower. Water was consistently like warm. Walls are pretty thin. Could hear what the guy in room next to us was watching all night. Coffee supplies weren't replenished consistently. Day 1 was only day we had sealed sugar and creamer packets. Following days were kind of hit and miss (but never got sealed packages again-just random flavors of creamer). Room was clean. Pool and gym were nice. Only went towards lobby/restaurant area at check in and check out so can't speak on any of the food or other staff.

After the reading the terrible reviews about this hotel, I was skeptical to stay at this property. Upon arrival we were checked in by a courteous woman. When we walked into the room, it smelled heavily of a sweet spray, but was not noticeable once situated. The room was large with a desk and recliner type chair. There was a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was much larger than average hotels. We did not use the shower, but checking, it was clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the pillows were not to my liking. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast selection. It had sausage, "real" hard boiled eggs, yogurts, fresh fruits, pastries and muffins, assorted breads, a waffle station and assorted juices, milk and coffee. We were there on a Sunday morning so don't know about the week days. Our room was clean, but the carpet showed signs of wear with a few stains, but not dirty. This was once a top of the line hotel. This can be seen by the reception area carpeting and woodwork. The pool was large, but very humid. I did not go into the fitness area, but saw the room. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We stayed one evening at this hotel. Our room refrigerator was outside our in the hall way. Towels were stuffed under ten door across from our room. A microwave was left on the hall near our room. The breakfast offered for an additional charge was subpar for complimentary breakfast and the server reeked of cigarette smoke. Sidewalks were not cleared of snow at 9:00 am. We will not be staying here again.

To start we didn’t get the room we reserved, it was loud but the worst part was standing at the front desk waiting to check out. There was no one there so I called the hotel and it just rang and rang. Finally a young lady came I’m talking 10 minutes later. No one ever answered the phone. We will not be returning.

My family and I stayed at the Wyndham Omaha over Memorial weekend. We booked a king suite that was supposed to have a living room and bedroom. We booked directly on the Wyndham app. When we checked in, we were given a single king room that was still dirty. Went back to the front desk and was given another single king room, at least this one was clean. Went back to the front desk a third time, was told by the clerk the room was marked as the type I reserved. I showed her the description on the app, at that point a manager came up. I was then told none of the room styles I reserved were clean, but we’d be able to move the next day.
The following morning I asked about moving, the front desk clerk said she would make sure it was arranged. Then during breakfast a different manager came up to us and said the room I booked didn’t exist at the hotel, there were no two room suites. He said he would reduce our rate based on what the app said for the actual room we got.
When I checked out, I asked for a copy of the receipt to verify the charges, unfortunately the woman watching the desk did not know how to print one up. A manager was supposed to contact me that day, no one did. I called that night, and got a copy emailed to me. I am still being charged for a room that supposedly doesn’t exist. I have called multiple times and have not been able to speak to a manager.
I understand this property recently opened, and the staff is new, but this doesn’t seem like it’s very difficult. The staff I have spoken to have been pleasant, but I have still not been refunded. At this time I do not recommend this hotel. I travel to Omaha multiple times a year, and will be staying elsewhere going forward.

I have never stayed in a more disappointing and unsanitary hotel than this one. To pay close to $1,000 made me sick to my stomach. I looked at moving hotels and walking out right after we walked in but couldn't due to hotel shortage. We didn't have a choice to move due to the fact everything for the family of 4 was booked and we were there for a baseball tournament.
1. We had to move rooms because the air conditioner didn't work in the first room, there was no toilet paper holder in this room, i don't think the floor had been vacuumed. There was a pop/beer bottle tab left on the floor and trash underneath the pullout bed.
2. The second room we were in the carpet had a massive amount of stains, the pullout bed had crumbs all over it, the electrical outlets in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet paper holder wouldn't stay attached and there was ZERO hot water any of the time we would shower. There were no extra bed sheets/pillows for the pullout couch which we had to use.
3.The whole hotel looked as though it had been cleaned maybe a couple of years ago. On the backdoor entrance there was no door handle to get in and then when you could pull it open the second door was not locked EVER so anyone could just come in off the streets (safety issue in my opinion). There was some fan or something that was being run in the lobby when you check in and their was an electrical cord strung all the way from the front entrance to inside the lobby not secured, which was a tripping hazard. The swimming pool area was at least 80 degrees in there not exaggerating if not higher. It was probably a health issue. The "continental breakfast" has stale cereal and bread maybe some apples and yogurt but that was not everyday and we stated 4 nights.
I have stayed at less start hotels and have been very happy. This is horribly disappointing when you are excited to visit Omaha for the first time and bring your 10 year old son to his first away tournament. I can also tell you it makes me never want to stay at another Wyndham hotel because of the bad taste it leaves in my mouth.
The other thing that is horribly ridiculous is you can't get Wyndham points when it is booked as a blocked room. That is absolutely insane as we are paying the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts not some third party. I was told by Donna on the Wyndham website Chat Feature last night when I was trying to figure out how to make a complaint.

Front Desk people unable to speak loud enough to be heard. Room very tired. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Not enough outlets in the room, so you are faced with decisions of which of the electrical items in the room you want to use. Specifically, there are more items furnished in the room than can be addressed by the available outlets, so the guest is faced with decisions as to whether they want to plug on some of the lights and the microwave, or the TV instead. Of course if you travel with electronics, then you have to add those options to list of candidates for outlets. Saving the best for last: there are no in-room instructions regarding TV operation, TV channel selections available, hours of included breakfast, or internet password. I travel a lot, rarely use Wyndham, before we checked in I was surprised at their low rates, now I know that they are an example of “overpriced and under delivered’”.

This is not a hotel to stay at if you can avoid it, do so!
The room was not clean. Crumbs and small red candies??? on the floor around the chair. Counter/desk top had crumbs under the glass top and sticky spots along the glass. Pulled out the small table to use for my laptop and was shocked by how sticky and dirty the entire table was. The bed is comfortable and nice pillows. There is no Free breakfast as describer on their website. This was one of the reasons I stayed there. No onsite restaurant and the bar was closed even on Sunday during all the football games. There was a message on my room phone and when I pressed the message button I was connected to the front desk. They had no idea how to get my message retrieved! It is very difficult to understand the front desk clerks. I had to listen very carefully and ask them to repeat what they had said. The place is quiet but the filthy room turn my stomach. Because I was there 4 days I went to Walmart and bought Clorox wipes to wipe down everything. I still shutter thinking about it. One good thing - it was quiet and I heard nothing inside my room. I must add there weren't a lot of other guests there!

I booked this hotel back in May 2024. The pictures showed a full hot breakfast and free parking. The parking was free, however the breakfast was not HOT, it consisted of toast and waffles, the lobby and halls were littered with debris. Our room did not have hot water and I found someone's false eye lashes on the bathroom counter indicating that the room was not cleaned the way it should have been. They were able to give us another room. When I asked them about the breakfast I was told that they stopped serving 10 days ago and that it was on their website. However as of today, June 3, 2024 the pics still show a full hot breakfast. We ended up going elsewhere for coffee and breakfast. Would not consider this hotel again.
