Not the Sheraton it once was. This place was a dump. Being closed for over 2yrs they just open the doors like nothing happened. No ice machines,elevator was broke,smell of mold everywhere, commercial air freshners spraying non stop on all levels. US flag outsid e at nite no light. Gunshot blast thru glass up front. Signs of doors kicked, wall paper falling off walls. Booked 2 nites. Only stayed one night cause it smelled so bad it made us sick. Took 3 tries to get us in a room that was actually clean and ready
This was one of the few Wyndham properties in Omaha that had good reviews on TripAdvisor. We want to give it another positive review. This hotel was completely refurbished & just opened in Jan. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich/fries from their restaurant & it was very good and only $10. The complimentary breakfast was great with fresh fruit, eggs & sausage, etc. The only negative is that the location is a little challenging to find but that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.
I travel quite a lot, this hotel will be my stay every time. From checkin to checkout it’s a great experience. Rooms are clean and spacious, great breakfast, very relaxed setting, and the location is perfect. Thank you Wyndham Omaha/West
The new management team was so friendly and accommodating when I stayed. The stay went well and we had no issues to note. The location is pretty convenient too and was easy to get around omaha being right off Dodge and close to interstate.
I enjoyed my stay so much. They have a new staff on site, and you can tell they are turning this place around! The breakfast was delicious and check in was quick and painless. Priced right, I'll definitely be back.
I was rudely asked by hotel staff if I was having sex, Thats none of their business. I would guess the state f nebraska Loves to bother people for their own benefits. I did not enjoy having the staff bother me and then ask about my SEX life.
Booked a room here over a week ago through a third party app. When I got to the hotel they said they had no room for me even though I had already booked and paid over a week ago. Front desk offered absolutely no help at all with an alternative hotel or any solution. Just said they have no room for me. Terrible experience
Booked online through Wyndham Rewards and had confirmation of a room with two queen beds for myself, my husband and twin 13-year-old daughters. When we arrived which was around 10:00 p.m. told that they only had a king size room available. One bed for four people!! Even though I had a confirmed reservation - said they had overbooked online reservations. Did not even have a roll away! We took the room anyway because we were all so tired. After getting to our room there was very loud music for most of the night. Also, the floor had a very weird aroma as soon as we stepped off of the elevator. Never again!
Where to even start, the service is slow and took 40 minutes to get checked in. The poor lady checking in was struggling but every time she called for someone to help nobody turned up until the 4th phone call for help. The hotel doesn’t smell the greatest and the pool water smells worse. The first day there the water only smelled a little bad but the second day it smelled awful. Maybe it was a bad chemical day for the water but it smelled gross. When we got to our room it smelled musty. We found someone else’s clothes in a bag so it definitely wasn’t cleaned that well. When house keeping came in the next day, they only emptied one of the trash cans. The clincher happened on our second night when we found two cockroaches in the room in the middle of the night. After telling the front desk, they seemed a little concerned but didn’t say much other than they would call and exterminator. Over all I give it a 2 because at least the beds were comfortable and the food was good. Definitely would not recommend.…
Rude, lack customer service. Booked the room with Priceline July 23. I walked up to desk and couldn’t even say anything. She said we got no rooms. Ok, well I already paid. She said you won’t be charged if you don’t check in. I’m like can you check. She says no, there are no rooms. Ok 5 days later, I’m still trying to get my money back. Do not recommend.
