WE used to stay at La Quinta in Omaha every month for the last 7 years. But since Wyndham bought them out, and they sold this hotel, it has gone down hill. Half of the employees dont speak good english, they are all Hindi speaking english, which is very hard to understand. Wyndham web site said the room was a king bed, non smoking, etc etc for $45.49 per night plus tax. Yet the reservation center said it was $68,?? per night plus tax etc. Way off from what the web site said. I got a supervisor on the phone at the reservation center and she too could not speak english well enough to understand that what they said the room costs and what the website said were two totally opposite things. They then connected me to the hotel staff desk in Omaha. He was very bad at english, and also insisted that the price was not $45,49 per night. after an hour trying to get it through to them that the web site said one thing and they should honor it. The front desk man said take a picture of that and we will honor it. Why should I have to take a photo to prove just what was on their web sight? Talk about false advertising. I will never set foot in ANY Wyndham property again.

The guest room of the hotel was not so clean. There was a weird smell coming out in the door we entered, ground floor and the hallway. There was not so good breakfast as they used to have.

However, the front desk staff during check-in and check-out were friendly. They need to focus more on the guestroom, bathroom, hallway cleanliness and the weird smell coming out there.

Our updated room was clean with bright LED lighting. The bathroom was spotless and all the plumbing worked with good water pressure. There must have been some long-term residents in our wing of the hotel, because there was mingling and talking in the hallway after hours. The next door bar and grill also got loud after hours and at closing.

We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who worked the front desk that was wearing flips flops and shorts while smoking what looked like a cigar as he held the front door for us as I walked through his smoke with my baby on my hip. There was no elevator so we then had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. As we walked down the hall to our room we noticed no smoking signs on all the room doors however the hall wreaked of cigarette smoke. We believe people may live in some of the rooms as we saw a few different people that looked like they were high on drugs. As soon as we entered our room we were hit with the smell of bleach. We originally thought they used bleach due to Covid-19 but later realized we believe they were trying to cover up the cat piss smell in the carpet. It was pretty quiet through the night. When we woke up we went down for our free breakfast that's advertised. We were told there is no breakfast or coffee due to Covid-19 however all of the other hotels we have visited on our cross country move has had bagged breakfasts to go. I get that they probably can't afford breakfast with the inexpensive room prices but they shouldn't advertise what they don't have. If we would of known about their false advertisement we could of been more prepared to feed our children breakfast. We were told to use the coffee makers in our room. That was definitely a no as the coffee maker in our room was dirty inside. La Quinta and Wyndham should be ashamed to have this hotel as part of their chain. I realize this hotel was inexpensive however I thought with names such as La Quinta and Wyndham it would of been a place I was comfortable having my children stay in. Huge mistake!

This hotel will forever be know as "The Stinky Hotel" by our 5 year old. The bathroom sink was clogged and smelled like sewage. The hotel lobby and hallways smelled strongly of weed, which by the looks of every hotel employee we saw, was due to them smoking in the hotel.

There was a huge water stain on the ceiling in the lobby and everything appeared to be being renovated, but I have a feeling it has been like this forever. Walls were missing their baseboard trim, there was a bunch of carpet missing and exposed screws on the stairs. This place was a mess.

Upon arriving to our room our soaps were opened and used but wrapped as if we were expected to use them. When we asked for new items including conditioner, we received the three shampoos. We had to go down to the front desk a second time to get conditioner. The two guys behind the desk giggled as they were stoned out of their minds. They did manage to get us conditioner the second time.

The pool closes at 10 PM but there were people all night in there partying which kept us up, including our 4 & 5 yr old.

From about 10:30pm - 12:30am, there was pounding and banging by our bathroom wall. We weren't sure what was going on, but it sounded like someone was pounding on the pipes in our bathroom.

Coffee pot inserts weren’t right ones, making a huge HOT mess!

The toilet was round and toilet seat cover was oval.

We planned to stay three nights but we couldn’t stand anything about this hotel. We asked for a refund and to to check out early and NO ONE asked why we were unhappy.

Breakfast was packaged danish, apple pies and cold items and there was nowhere to sit, so we ate in our sewage room.

We travel and stay in TONS of hotels and this is by far the worst hotel ever.

Where do i start. This hotel is HORRIBLE!!!! The first red flag was the number of sketchy people in the parking lot standing around. The second red flag was during check-in when I was asked to keep a sign in my car showing I had paid to stay. And it went down hill from there. The dog area was so covered in trash that I couldn't take a step without stepping on something and the dogs refused to do their business because they were too busy smelling all the garbage. I had to walk a half mile down the road to find a clean place for them. Once back at the hotel, we walked to our room and the entire hotel smells of marijuana covered up with cheap floral air freshener. The room stunk and felt dirty. I am pretty sure the parking spot in front of my room was the drug pick up spot because one car after another pulled in a for a few minutes, blared their music, then left. Shortly after another car would do the same thing. I counted 5 cars in a 15 minute period come and go - this went on until 5am. The dogs could not sleep because of the constant noise and banging on walls and doors. I gave up on sleep at 6am and walked out the building door to leave and was greeted by 3 people standing in front of the door because "they lost their key and needed in". If you value you and your pets safety, i would NOT stay at this hotel. My words could never describe how absolutely horrible this hotel was. La Quinta should be ashamed of themselves.

The hotel was disgusting trash everywhere nothing was clean. They messed up my reservation so my family was split into two completely separate rooms on different halls and milk was curled and expired for breakfast. They had 4 boiled eggs 3 containers of yogurt and cereal there wasn’t enough for each member of my family to even have one item. Don’t even think about getting warm water for a shower not that you’d want to step into the tub anyways as it was fifth. One of our rooms light switch would shut the light and the tv off. Coffee pots didn’t have all its components so you couldn’t even make coffee.

The "hotel" requires you to push a buzzer to enter the lobby. That should be your first warning about this hotel. Once you get checked in, you will walk through the dimly lit hallways that smell of mildew, old cigarette smoke, and urine. You'll hear people arguing with each other behind their thin doors. Once you arrive to your room the smell doesn't go away. Your room is also dimly lit and you'll need to go around to individually turn on each light as there is no master light switch. My bathroom had a note on the toilet that read: "Take off the rubber band from the flush valve & flapper before using". So the hotel does have an expectation that you are willing to do some minor plumbing work during your stay. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty!
The heater didn't work in the room--and it is winter.
I couldn't stand the smell, sounds or the plumbing requirement, so within 30 minutes I went to the front desk and told them I couldn't stay there. They said the manager was the only one who could process a refund and the manager wasn't there. I have not yet received a refund.

We reserved a room for $59 online showed up at midnight to check in after a long cross country road trip and was charged $97 for the night when we were only there for 6 hrs. The room had not previously been cleaned. There was dog hair all over the bed, the shower was a mess and had bottles of mens shampoo and body wash that was not the hotel brand so we could tell it had not been serviced before we were checked into that room. when we asked for clean linens we had to put them on the bed ourselves. The water for the shower never got warm. I would never stay here again even if it was the last hotel.

The hallways were musty and dirty, the beds old and uncomfortable and the bathroom door was difficult to close. At check in I was asked for a credit card for incidentals but not asked for ID. The second night my keys stopped working and when I went to the front desk and gave my room number the man at the front desk just gave me new keys without asking for identification. I had never met this man and he hadn't seen me previously. He even asked if I was checking in when I went to the desk for the keys. The day after I checked out I was charged $50.02 on my credit card. Seriously?? I had to call twice to get it refunded. Terrible place to stay. I travel a lot and this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Do not waste your money or compromise your safety !
