The "hotel" requires you to push a buzzer to enter the lobby. That should be your first warning about this hotel. Once you get checked in, you will walk through the dimly lit hallways that smell of mildew, old cigarette smoke, and urine. You'll hear people arguing with each other behind their thin doors. Once you arrive to your room the smell doesn't go away. Your room is also dimly lit and you'll need to go around to individually turn on each light as there is no master light switch. My bathroom had a note on the toilet that read: "Take off the rubber band from the flush valve & flapper before using". So the hotel does have an expectation that you are willing to do some minor plumbing work during your stay. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty! The heater didn't work in the room--and it is winter. I couldn't stand the smell, sounds or the plumbing requirement, so within 30 minutes I went to the front desk and told them I couldn't stay there. They said the manager was the only one who could process a refund and the manager wasn't there. I have not yet received a refund.…
Dirty, questionable clientele, felt unsafe.Piece of rug placed over old rug, broken coffee maker, broken outlet cover just laying on floor, terrible paint job, Chair was noticeably dirty, peep hole was crammed with toilet paper
I stayed here several times in 2022 and previous years and each time have been happy with my stay. The price is fair, the location works well for me, and my room has been clean and comfortable. During one recent stay they were installing new TVs, decor, mattresses. Towels and bedspreads are clean and also seem to be new. Continental style breakfast is fine for me with more than enough to choose from. WiFi is strong and reliable. Parking is sufficient and there always seems to be parking available. The staff is helpful and if an issue comes up, they resolve it. I would stay here again.
I would give it negative 10 stars if an option. I have never stayed in such a FILTHY literally mouse infested hell hole with the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Deepa, the manager was an absolute witch! We checked in late on a very cold evening and were put in a king “suite”. The couch was full of stains and rips and covered in animal hair. The sheets were filthy and when we, yes we, went to change them, my husband found literal mouse poop in the bed. The furniture is held together with masking tape! When asked to change rooms they took me to one with literal human feces everywhere in the bathroom. The final room they showed us the sheets were filthy again. We had to change our own bedding. The only reason we even stayed is we have a baby and it was freezing and we had already unloaded all our things. It was hard to find another place close by with rooms due to the massive storm that hit. Oh, and they still charged us for the room when they said they wouldn’t. We even had to ask them for a refund, they were not even thinking about refunding us!Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT stay here!!!…
Wow. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. We were upgraded (?) to one of the large suites, but there was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage with us as we're moving across the country. Room was dark and dingy. Stains on the carpets and furniture and walls. Furniture was ripped and outdated - I was afraid to sit on any of the chairs and couch that were a hodge podge of items in the room. After a long day of travel, we just wanted to use the shower, but when we pulled the curtain aside the tub was disgusting! Looked like someone had washed a dirty dog in the tub and all the dirt settled on the tub floor. Toilet had some pubic hairs on it, not to mention some sort of dirty substance on it. Floor had clearly not been mopped. Towels were clean, but one of them ripped apart as I was drying myself. The "breakfast" was a complete joke. Only an hour after it opened, all the bread was gone. The cereal container was broken so I had to pick up the container and dump my cereal into a bowl. No spoons, so ate cereal with a fork. Yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and bread (when stocked) are the only things to choose from. Location is not good, and I wasn't sure if some of the "guests" were actually homeless people coming to get something to eat. We had a U-Haul with a trailer, and we had to park a bit away from the hotel which I was uncomfortable with. Only good thing was the bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff was nice and quickly remedied the gross bathtub. But not worth the military discount. Admittedly, we did not look at the reviews (big mistake), however we know the La Quinta brand name to be reputable, clean, comfortable, and safe. That is no longer the case, unfortunately, and we will never stay in another La Quinta again.…
Go somewhere else. Terrible WiFi, poor lighting, so-so beds, thin walls. The staff was accommodating but it was obvious that everything was done on the cheap! Vending machines were almost empty. They had a slot for a card but would only take cash. Walls are very thin. I just don't see any reasons to go back. I go to Omaha often to see family but will find a different hotel next time.
Not a safe place to stay. Filthy on the inside. Blood on towels and brown stains on bed. Some rooms are in separate buildings away from front desk which is not comforting along with the unsafe appearance of the property! Had a dog with me and when I walked the dog and noticed the potential illegal activity happening around the parking lot topped off with banging on walls and door, I decided to pack up and leave with in an hour or so after checking in. When pulling out of parking lot you could see the front desk man walking to the building I was in with a can of roach spray👀…. When reported to the manger she accused me of lying! Save yourself some money and don’t stay here!
Disappointed. Room 118 was run door, tub took an hour to drain, broken lamp and window shade, looked like a party room. Grounds has homeless on the interstate side, overall looked run down and was just a sad place. Staff was friendly and check in and out was great. I was so disappointed as I had stayed here before.
This location has been progressively get worse everyday. Too much noise, to many police visits, because the hotel allows unsavory characters to be around the property, there was also prostitues conducting business on-site. The breakfast was nothing less than deplorable.
Stayed here Oct 1, 2022. The place stunk and was dirty. There was just a cheap flimsy covering for the window so had parking lot lights blaring into room all night. There is a bar & grill next door so went over to get something. 3 guards with full body armor and everyone was searched/ wanded prior to entry. This neighborhood is sketchy at best. There is a reason it is cheap. Would give it zero stars if I could.
