Detailed Reviews
If you can keep your expectations fairly low, this property won’t disappoint.
The staff is top-notch, always friendly and helpful. The location is pretty convenient with lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. The beds are always comfortable.
I am a titanium member and prefer to stay in full service or Boutique Marriotts. I feel bad being critical of these full service Marriotts that were built in the 80s, but the structures have made them dinosaurs. They lack an efficient use of space and the what can be done with the aesthetics of the building are fairly limited. The rooms were poorly designed back in the day and even new paint and flooring can’t really help. The worst thing about this trip was a common theme from past trips. The furniture seems to be very old and has taken a lot of abuse. My desk was very worn out and I didn’t even have a suitable desk chair for sitting at the desk for any length of time. I had a meeting room chair that was supposed to suffice 🙄
I know this review sounds harsh-but I am surprised that Marriott hasn’t asked this franchisee to step up their game. It’s a great location, but at least bring in some new furniture. Upgrade the pool area-an outdoor pool in the Midwest is an unusual luxury. Based on location, I would stay here more often, but it becomes difficult with newer and more modern options available throughout the city.

We needed a spontaneous getaway and this property filled it perfectly! I surprised my husband with this night out after some stressful months. On our way to Omaha, I used the Marriott app chat to ask for a room with a nice view, preferably upper floor. They responded immediately asking for our estimated time of arrival and they would have the room blocked for us right away. I checked in per app but had trouble identifying the room, which they courteously showed where it was in the screen .🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️. Then also gave us two keys and sent us on our way within a minute. We were booked on the 5th floor to a beautifully redecorated king room. These rooms are not large, but all the amenities are there, but Daniel at the front desk added a bottle of wine there and waiting to our room, and later messaged to ask if everything was ok. After a wonderful dinner at a favorite nearby restaurant, we spent some time in the lounge at the hotel, and while it was busy, the noise level was well controlled and we could talk easily. These are true Marriott beds and bedding, again all amenities wonderful. Frankly we can’t wait to go back. Just wish we could have stayed more than one night! Also-if you have littles, the pool has an indoor outdoor design I am sure they would love. It was seeing it that reminded me we had stayed at this property years ago with our own littles. Only regrets-no pictures and not coming back sooner!

I travel extensively, in the U.S., and out of the country. I stay in Omaha to visit friends and family on average, two to three times a year, for a minimum of 9-10 nights. I finally found the perfect "home away from home" in Omaha.
The Marriott Regency was having one of the busiest convention weeks of the year while I was there, yet the front desk staff remained incredibly helpful and friendly. Housekeeping did a great job, and the rest of the hotel and the grounds were kept immaculate. There were plenty of outlets in the room, including two right next to the bed, so I'm not sure what kind of room another reviewer had, who said there was only one at the base of the lamp. Not to mention, the desk had an entire set up for computers and tablets. Even though it's located next to the interstate, when I was inside the room, there was silence. I never heard noise from the hallway, or the rooms on either side of me. I'm really pleased and impressed with the Marriott.
The only issue I encountered was that my balcony sliding door was very hard to open and close, and it was my decision to not call and ask someone to come and fix that. I'm certain if I had, they would have responded immediately. No doubt.
Thank you, Marriott Regency, for a very comfortable stay (slept like a log, comfy bed!) and I'll see you again soon.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on July 9, 2021. The room was clean but small and cramped, and every word spoken by our neighbors in the next room was audible to us. The hotel's indoor-outdoor swimming pool and hot tub were inaccessible because a convention had exclusive occupation of that area of the building. We checked out after one night, and stayed at another hotel for the remainder of our time in Omaha. Later, we learned that the Omaha Marriott hotel had charged us $12.95 for "video streaming" that we neither requested nor used. When my husband called to enquire about this charge, the Marriott employee was not only unhelpful but hung up on him. This erroneous charge has not been refunded.

The breakfast at $18.00 is a tad pricey, but it is good. Issues:
1) Entire hotel is either heated or cooled, you have no control over the temperature. If your room has a working controller, you can adjust the fan. We could not adjust the fan; the only fix was for maintenance to turn off the fan completely.
2) The sliders on the first floor need to be maintained; can barely open them and the 'safety bar' on ours was broken.
3) Showers are hotter than Hades or ice cold; very difficult to maintain.
4) Rooms are tiny with a desk & a large chair. If the chair is pulled out to use the desk, the other person in the room would have to climb over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other.
5) Supper in the restaurant was abysmal.
6) You get an ice bucket but there is no ice machine. You must request ice at the front desk and you receive a half full 1 gallon ziploc bag of ice.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our sons baseball tournament and it was a fantastic experience!! The hotel staff were all incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. They had a special conference room for baseball families to use, big coolers filled with ice for us to use and a wonderful breakfast laid out each morning. The pool and outdoor seating area were perfect, two small wiffle ball fields made in the grassy area for the boys to play — huge hit! By far the best experience we’ve had when traveling for a tournament. They had thought of everything we would need. They kept the hotel incredibly clean and that’s not an easy job when you have hundreds of kids and families coming in and out all day long. Big shoutout to all of the staff at this location - thank you for all of the time and effort you put in to ensuring we had an enjoyable stay!

This review is of my first stay with the Omaha Marriott on Regency Circle. My hotel room was very comfortable in every way. The meeting rooms we used were upscale and the staff went over and above in accommodating our needs and wishes. I really like the facilities and surroundings, the area is quite nice and there is plenty of places to go nearby for shopping or dining out... most of the time I dined at the hotel and was not disappointed. ~ Jon E

I spend approx. 100 nights in Omaha a year and this is my go to hotel because of the amenities and hospitality. The customer service is great and the rooms are always clean. The food is so good in the lobby restaurant that I usually stay in for dinner rather than going out. The hotel itself is older but all the rooms and common areas have been updated and are well-appointed. The gym is updated and the hotel does have an indoor/outdoor pool.

We had chosen this Pension thinking of resting in a nice room and because there was an open pool, in the end the room was very small and mostly frozen and it was not possible, according to the hostess, to reverse the air conditioning to put in heating mode, so we got cold all the time in the room that did not warm up.
The room was apparently not the one we had booked but they told me a lower rate, so we kept it. Except that at check-out they charged the High Award with better room. I claimed, they made a calculation to arrive at the Award that the person who had done the Check-in and who was nevertheless quite friendly at Check-out, it was necessary to insist but in the end they respected the price indicated on arrival. On the other hand when I raised the problem of air conditioning afterwards, the other hostess clearly did not care. There is no microwave in these rooms, sliding doors for closets and bathroom are not practical, some outlets only work for a few minutes, and therefore cannot be used. They ask that they be careful not to use too many towels while the towels do not dry so cold in the rooms and for ice cubes you have to ask at the reception, which is not at all practical when there are people. We won’t choose a Marriot Inn again, we might as well go to a lower range with better amenities. This Pension is certainly more suitable for businessmen. Only go if you really want an outdoor pool.
