We had to go to Omaha, Nebraska for a funeral and could not have appreciated Whitney and Stephanie at the front desk more! During our travels from California our flight was delayed multiple times and we almost missed our connector. We were so stressed out the whole time we travelled and were afraid we wouldn't even get there on time. I called a head of time and spoke with both Stephanie and Whitney who assisted me with a credit card authorization for another member of our party travelling, and prechecked us in to ensure our room was ready when we finally arrived. We arrived around 1am in the morning and had a smooth check in with the keys already made. Their simple kindness and help made the end of a very stressful day easy and seemelss. We want to thank them so much for making things wonderful.

We have been visiting Omaha, on the past several years to see our father so we've had the opportunity to stay at several hotels in the Omaha area. This was our favorite hotel by far. The hotel rooms are comfortable and ours had a refrigerator and a microwave. The air conditioning and heating unit works well. The the rooms have blackout shades instead of the normal curtains which are a nice touch and they really do do a great job of blocking out all the light . We did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms which also sometimes happens in hotels . The TV is a good size and the bed is very comfy. The hair products are also good and include hair conditioner. The hotel itself feels very safe and secure with lots of lighting in the parking lot. The lobby is very spacious and nicely decorated. There is an indoor swimming pool that I took pictures of. There's also laundry facilities that I used while here. The breakfast is above average for free Hotel breakfast. There are lots of items including biscuits and gravy, omelets , fruits oatmeal , pancakes and yogurt to name a few.
What really separates this hotel from many others we have stayed at is the people. Specifically I would like to mention Whitney who was on duty when we arrived. We had interactions with her after that on several occasions as well. She was so friendly from the moment we walked in the hotel and and after we explained to her why we were in town she offered her condolences and and it felt very sincere in nature. Freddy who also works at the front desk is equally friendly and welcoming to everybody and very helpful. Gwen from the front desk helped me when I needed laundry soap last night as they had run out and she went in the back and found an extra laundry detergent packet for me to use. The staff here seemed to go above and beyond to help the customers feel comfortable. This is always appreciated but it really meant something during this visit. We really needed a friendly place to stay with welcoming people. It's pretty apparent to me that whoever hires the staff here knows the value of customer service because everyone really demonstrated that, and in particular these three employees named above.
Thank you for a wonderful stay at a difficult time in our life . I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Omaha. I really cannot think of any downsides to staying here. It's reasonably priced for the accommodation level that is provided.

We usually don't stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling, but we chose this hotel due to location. We were attending an event at the Omaha Music Conservatory. We arrived later than expected. The front desk person was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. Our room was very clean and the mattress very comfortable. It was nice having shampoo/conditioner in regular sized dispensers in the shower rather than having small bottles to contend with. Breakfast buffet was very good and refilled often. The tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. Lobby and breakfast area kept very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

After a couple not-great stays in hotels in Omaha, this is the one I will be coming back to. Hotel is clean, mostly quiet, the room and bathroom was in good shape. We had a couple hiccups with a room mix-up, but all the personnel we encountered while dealing with it were pleasant and aimed to please. The bed and pillows were comfy, hallway noise was reasonable. Free breakfast was kept well stocked. The location is decent- within minutes of great restaurants, shopping, and UNO.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were firm enough for my husband’s bad back that often acts up on road trips, but still very comfortable- so much so that my 11 year old said it was his “best sleep ever”. The breakfast was also delicious and had enough options that we were able to enjoy something new each day of our 4 night stay. The cinnamon rolls especially were very popular with my family.
The only complaint I have is that even though the door seemed quite heavy, it didn’t block sound very well. The people walking through the hallway may not have been loud, but you could hear every footstep. I’m a really light sleeper though, so it might just be me.

This hotel kept lying to us the whole time we were there. Our bathroom wouldn’t drain and they told us they didn’t have another room for us. They told us they would fix it but came back later that night. They said they did but they didn’t. They gave us a room down the hall to shower in. When checking out the man stated we were lied to and they had plenty of rooms. By the way they don’t wash the top comforter, they reuse them. They also gave my friend the room. Key without her name being on room or asking me. When we talked to the manager he stated he wanted it to be an easy process. This was actually a security risk, what if it was someone I was trying to get away from?

All in all, a good one night stay. I was in town to visit a friend at a nearby hospital. Front desk person who checked me in was outstanding. So helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and quiet, and bed was very comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. Despite the recent renovation, my room did show a couple of signs of wear and tear -- scuffs on the wall and a toilet that was loose on the floor. Would stay here again.

I’ve stayed here twice - once in July 2023 and once in July 2024. My first visit was much better. The hotel has an indoor pool, so it always has that “indoor pool smell,” but this summer when we stayed, there was an odd smell all over the lobby area and elevators. I can’t put my finger on what it was but it was not really pleasant. Could not locate the ice machine, I think there must not be one on every floor. *on the bright side* the continental breakfast is phenomenally good. The omelets are super tasty and there is a great variety of options.

This Holiday Inn was recently updated. Very Clean and modern. Comfortable bed with great pillows. The breakfast was very good with two types of eggs, bacon and sausage. Muffins, pancakes, fruit. Front desk staff were friendly and provided good info on places for dinner. Close to Westroads shopping center.

Traveled from Chicago to Omaha unexpectedly, and choose this hotel solely due to it's location near Methodist Hospital. I didn't have a reservation, just walked in. Top 2 most important things for me are safety & cleanliness. This Holiday Inn Express was good on both points. Front desk staff was friendly. I was most impress with the manager, Mr. Chris. Whether assisting hotel guests, working the front desk or the breakfast area he was always on the go and hustling, plus he always had a smile and friendly hello for every guest.
