We had a most pleasant and relaxed stay here. Probably the biggest problem was pool v sea, but that one is easily solved. Tha staff were great and the food was excellent. One thing they don’t tell you (I wonder why?) is that a two minute walk away over the hill, there are three great restaurants, all well worth a visit. To be clear, this hotel is a bit isolated, but it was still very pleasant.
Perfect placed small hotel at the beach close to Sivota. The hotel has direct access to a small bay and to the beach of Mega Ammos with three beach clubs. The hotel is typical to the country. The room and the hotel is clean and in good shape. Good value for the money. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice little Hotel for a family vacation. The rooms are nice and cleaning is good. Good sunbeds around the Hotel. Few meters to the sea, but no beach at the Hotel. You have to go into the water through a ladder. Pool is okey. Nearest beach is very close beside the Hotel but you have to pay for sunbeds and it is a stonebeach. Food in the Hotel is Nice. Staff is polite but not overly serviceoriented. Glutenfree options provided such as pasta and pizza. We had a good time at our Hotel here i Syvota, but that was also the only good experience with this place as it is the first time being here. We have been a lot of places in Greece before and were shocked by the rude people at Syvota in general, so will not recommend the place in general. This goes not for the Hotel! But I will write it here as it is not possible to review a place in general here and I would have like to know this before going here. Never experienced such bad service anywhere. The people at all the restaurants, renting places, taxidrives and foodstores were straight up rude and seemed to hate tourists. Never going back to this place becauSe of that! Insane much mosqitoes as well as bees as well.…
A great hotel for a peaceful get away with lovely gardens, very good accommodation and right on the coast with just a few minutes walk away from a superb beach. Via Jet2 holidays we had booked a Garden Room which turned out to be a well appointed apartment with two balconies, kitchen facilities and views over the garden. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The walk into Sivota was a good 20 minutes and well worth a visit as was the nearby beach.
The hotel, pool and area access to the sea is very nice and the rooms are adequate even though they do not leave cups and glasses in the rooms in case you want to make a drink and you have to ask for kettles. They have good attentive staff in their restaurant in particular Dimitri and Lula. The food there is of a goos standard too. Breakfast is ok but its the same old thing every day, only one day they served bacon, cereals are not crunchy and fresh and the muesli is dry porridge oats basically. They are not too concerned about safety either. They have a path leading from the end of restaurant down to the steps leading into the sea, this path is almost like an infinity path with no definition of the step and we saw several people miss the step, one person having a nasty graze to the knee. It was reported and suggested a white border line defining the step or a notice 'mind the step', nothing was done. On two days per week they allow all and sundry into their pool and so many locals and their families suddenly descended on a nice peaceful day, running, jumping and diving in the pool despite there being a notice banning all of those things around the pool.…
Perfect location for those that prefer a quieter location.Great staff, from polite cleaners, humorous restaurant staff and an excellent bar manager. Food very nice, well presented and plenty of home cooking. 20 min walk to sivota harbour with lot’s of various restaurants.will be returning next year to mikros paradisos . Happy holidays Jeff and Kate
This is the second visit to this hotel. Beautiful setting overlooking the sea and a 2 minute walk to the beach or you can access the sea from the hotel gardens via swimming pool steps. The gardens are large colourful and meticulously maintained. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with kettle fridge and enough utensils to prepare a simple meal. The bed linen is of good quality and the towels big and fluffy changed at least twice a week. The swimming pool is spotless and surrounded by sunlougers with thick matresses. The restaurant serves a buffer breakfast with hot and cold food with the usual selection of cases and warm croissants. We didn't have the evening meal but other guests said that the food was good. We did however sample the a la carte dinner which was excellent. The hotel is a 20 minute walk into town via a mostly well lit road. We didn't find this a problem and walked in at least once a day to enjoy our favourite restaurants the best being the Blue Coast on the harbour and Spiros on the main street.Sivota is a small very pretty resort. The harbour can be quite lively but never noisy. The Bamboo Place is our favourite bar with the excellent Elena serving and providing free shots and crisps throughout your visit. The resort mainly attracts Scandiavian Italian and Greek tourists with very few English. There are many excursions to local attractions by either road or boat with local travel firms organising them. All in all a very peaceful holiday in a lovely hotel in one of Greece's most beautiful areas. Can't wait to return…
Just returned from 2 weeks here. Lovely hotel in an oasis of green and lovely Greek countryside. The rooms were comfortable and the resort was within walking distance of several beaches as well as having its own access to the sea via steps. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a good choice - albeit served by staff at the moment. The gardens were really lovely - full of flowers and well maintained. The food at the hotel (only B&b available for us) was fine and plenty of cocktails - but pricey if you do it every day! There were some restaurants at the next beach too. Couple of suggestions - mirrors were only available in the bathroom which was far too dark to see properly. The bedroom need a good mirror too. The shower room available after checking out needs serious attention. No mirror in the room marked for women and no shower in the men’s. It was only after I finished I realised you could use both. The shower leaked badly and there was no hairdryer with the plug outside the changing rooms. The walk to Syvota took about 20 mins which was rather hot in the day time but worth it for a good range of restaurants and bars and trips. Transfer was very long but breathtaking views on the way. A good holiday if you’re looking for a quiet break. …
We stayed here for two weeks. Though the location is more remote then we are used to, we enjoyed this more than many other holidays we have been on. The staff is most helpful and nice. They seem to take a personal interest in your happiness and wellbeing. Any issues are resolved to the best of their ability, and we truly felt taken care of and appreciated our entire stay. The location, while slightly of a city center, offers many perks. It’s quiet and calm. It takes just minutes to drive to the local town and you have one if the most popular and beautiful beaches on this side of Greece right next to your hotel. Mega Amos (the beach referred to) is specially busy during weekends, but with the hotel right next to it you can come and go as you please. We rented a car for our stay that offered us the opportunity to come and go easily, and that made our stay even more comfortable. If you are looking for authentic, handmade, traditional, homemade foods, this place has you covered. They offer great food and a good variety. The pool bar also offers great snacks and drinks and are most helpful and wanting to tend to your every needs between breakfast and dinner. The cocktail list does offer something for everyone, and I’m sure everyone can find something they enjoy. The pool was great and clean. The surrounding area was beautiful, green and lush. There is a great ocean front view and the opportunity to go down to the ocean directly from the hotel aria too. I saw some guests had rented boats they could leave just outside the shore outside the hotel, so that offers great convenience also. We didn’t have to fight anyone to get a subbed, witch was a good changes from the other holiday experiences we have had. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this for a nice, quiet experience truly enjoyable for every member of the family. We would consider going back some time. …
