Hidden in the beautiful mountains of Syvota, this hotel has it all: fresh, clean and spacious rooms, nice breakfast and 3-5 minutes walk to the Mega Ammos beach with crystal clear water. Most of all the staff was excellent, they were all determined to provide the best care and service for the guests. Always helpful and polite. The hotel area was spotless and well taken care of with beautiful flowers, olive trees and other fruit trees. The walk to the city centre took about 20-25 minutes and the streets were safe even in the late night so we really enjoyed walking there. Taxis were available for about 6€. Really recommend the Mega Ammos hotel to anyone visiting Syvota. We will definitely visit again!

A big recommandation for Hotel Mega Ammos from three Danish friends. The staff was especially very nice and helpful, the rooms were well decorated and the breakfast was big and with variations from day to day. One day there were no taxis available but one of the hotel owners drow me and my friends to Sivota, and when we wanted to pay him he was just like “no need to pay” which was an extremely nice gesture and is something that just makes the stay even better!

We stayed for 10 days here with our 3 year old. It was really enjoyable and relaxing place for a family holiday. The food at the hotel was so great that we didn't bother much looking for other restaurants to eat. Great variety, always frieshly prepared, something for every taste. The pool area is great for kids and adults. The hotel terrace is great with a sea view and looks over a small playground suitable for smaller children. Everything is very clean and tidy and rooms are cleaned every day. The staff was so wonderul, friendly, efficient, we felt at home from the first day. Mega Ammos beach is just 2min walk. To Syvota town and other beaches, you need a car or taxi which charges 6 euros for a 5min ride to the town. Overall we loved staying here and recommend it for everyone who enjoys peaceful setting in a very nice hotel. A big THANKS to the hotel staff for being so fantastic! Marta from Belgrade…

We had a lovely holiday at Hotel Mega Ammos. The place is very nice. Renovated bungalows, sweet staff and very good surroundings!! We spent the week by Mega Ammos Beach and the nights at the restaurant of the hotel. I can highly recommend the place for couples or families with elder children.

This is a small hotel 20 mins walk outside of Sivota town. It has the beach two mins away and three tavernas on the beach serving very good food. The rooms are well facilitated and the servicing is excellent. It has a small pool with very comfortable loungers and poolside bar. This is a more sedate environment so not for the "party" holiday. The hotel also has an evening meal service which is varied and good.

Kalispera :-) We just spend a week at Hotel Mega Ammos and it was more than we expected. Nice atmosphere, lovely food and absolutely great service. We would not hesitate to recommend Mega Ammos to anyone. Syvota is a small town with not much to do but relax and enjoy the weather, mountains & ocean. Plenty of possibilities for trips with different companies and Mega Ammos are more than ready to help. Also if you need to book a car. If we are ever to visit Syvota again we would definitely stay at Mega Ammos.

Lovely, family run hotel. Stayed here for a week on a 'Healthy Options' holiday that is based at Mega Ammos. Our bungalow (401) was spotlessly clean, as were all other communal areas. Lovely gardens, very clean pool area with comfy loungers and seating. Breakfast was quite basic but plentiful. Restaurant menu was delicious, great salads! Maria was the best waitress ever, She should have her own tv show!! What an asset she is. Lovely beach area accessed by a pathway with steps down to beach with 3 independent restaurants and bars and a small shop. Town is an easy 20-30 min walk with pretty harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Wifi great.

Went with Healthy Options . Staff were really lovely and helpful especially when I had left my wallet on the plane ! Food was good, cheap, rooms clean and a good size. Its not a 5-star establishment, its cosy, friendly, family run ...small pool, but adequate. Stony beach (bring beach shoes) but a beautifully sheltered bay perfect for paddleboarding. Bike hire was cheap, but town was only a 20 min walk away - nice to bike in a hurry, but perfect for evening walk into harbour if you wanted to try the restaurants in town.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and we enjoyed our vacations very much. Hotel Mega Ammos is a very good place to stay and its location is great, only 200 m walk from the beach of Mega Ammos and 3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Mikri Ammos. The room was nice, very clean, with a very nice sea view and with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very kind and very helpful, especially Anna, the bar tender, who was continuously helping us with very precious information on the beaches and places to visit around beautiful Sivota. The breakfast was good, but could be improved a bit in terms of variety though. The quality of wi-fi was excellent and the available free parking was a big advantage. The hotel is only 2 km away from Sivota center, but very near to the most beautiful beaches of the area and the excellent restaurants of Mega Ammos. Overall, we had a great time there!…

We stay in this hotel for 1 week, a family with 2 kids. A very good place to stay, for the money paid. Very good cleaning every day. One of the most clean hotels we ever stayed. Everything in the room is operational, new and in good quality. The location is great. 200m walk to beach of Mega ammos and 400m from the street to Mikri Ammos. Syvota is 2 km away. Spyros is a great host. The breakfast is good with good quality. I have to mention that we had the best ever wi-fi in any hotel i have been. All 4 if us had unobstructed access with phones, tablets, etc in reasonably good speed to fascilitate common web operations. The room we stay was kind of small for a family of 4, and this is the only negative i can find. Anyway you dont spend much time in the room in these places. The hotel overall looks like people running it care for it and for their guests. We had a very good time and the place was very good for the money paid.…
