Visited Villa Alexandra at Karvouno Villas for seven days on a family holiday. My partner and I together with our grown up children and partners - 7 peeps in all. The villa is outstanding - very clean - very comfortable and equipped. The various seating areas outdoors and indoors gave privacy if required but sufficient for family fun if needed. We didn’t use the indoor hot tub or sauna but some may like to. Maria was our key contact and she supported us so well and Emilio running the restaurant was really helpful. Maria’s two teenage girls worked at the bar - Angel and Constance and were lovely. The pool was cleaned daily and towels and the linen changed most days. The pool man swept and cleaned all the outside tiles every day. Location is amazing - right on the beach and we had four umbrellas reserved for us with 8 sun beds. If others on the beach occupied the designated beds they were moved on quickly by the staff. A great benefit to be able to move from pool to beach etc. The beach wasn’t very busy but a lot of locals use it which wasn’t an issue. Syvota is a short drive away with plenty of eateries and the beach bar provides good food. We ate one night in the Restaurant and the food was very good. It’s a lively place with many boats coming in and mooring up. The beach is excellent and whilst we brought a SUP with us the villa also had a couple we could use in the sea with a couple of blowup rings etc adding to the fun. Through the owner Michail we booked / chartered ahead of our holiday, a catamaran trip for a day, - 12 hours inc breakfast lunch and dinner. A great day coming back after sunset having been to Paxos and Ante Paxos. We had a chef and waitress - Angel from the bar and the day was wonderful. We used the gas bbq two nights and two lunches. Great butchers nearby provided great bbq meat. It was a big bday for my partner and the owner gave her a lovely bouquet and cakes which was a nice touch. This is not a cheap Villa but you pay for what you get ….top quality. Thank you.

We stayed here for ten glorious nights in August 2022. Staying in Villa Michail. The villa has so much space for a family of 4. Two good sized bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Not forgetting the indoor steam room if the Greek sunshine isn't hit enough for you. Outside a large and private terraced garden with two dining areas, sunshine and shady spots plus a wonderful private pool with views across the adjoining beach out to sea. Stunning. We stayed on a half board basis and enjoyed breakfast and lunch each day. The food was fresh and tasty plus gave us the pleasure of meeting each day with the fabulous restaurant team. With Maria in the kitchen turning out some fabulous food. Her lamb Kleftiko is a particular delight. Her two daughters Angel and Constandina work in the restaurant and seems to be there from dawn until, well dawn, every day. Hard working doesn't begin to cover it. The same goes for Danny and Mario who also run tirelessly from restaurant to beach all day with a smile and never letting their good humour, great service and perfect English slip. Sophia runs the bar and produces a fabulous double espresso along with an assortment of delicious drinks. Emilio manages proceedings and very much leads from the front. Nothing too much trouble and no request declined. He even took one of us into town for a well needed hair cut. Each day our villa was cleaned and presented beautifully by Jessica. Our day livened up each day by Mr (Big trouble) Nikos who oversees all the coming and goings on the water with professionalism and a great sense of fun. Mr Mikalis and Mrs Alexandra. You have a wonderful and welcoming place to stay. A great team of people who treated us as warmly and professionally as any fine hotel we have stayed in. We left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family. We miss you all, wish each of you every happiness and success and hope to see you again. To anyone wanting a great place to stay, in a beautiful part of Greece, you won't be disappointed. Matthew, Medina, Alex and Lewis.

Visited in October for a meal and were told we could only pre-order from the online menu. No orders being taken at the table. Presumably this was so they could get the mediocre and tasteless ingredients out of the freezer and into the microwave. The guy in charge was rude and we observed him losing the plot with other guests. There are cats everywhere and a couple of dogs that roam the restaurant, peeing in corners and up bannister posts very close to you whilst you're eating. Very expensive food and also wine. Cheapest bottle of house white was €30! A gin and tonic (Gordon's and Schweppes, no ice, no frills), €10. My meal was served cold and congealed. They did make me another; it was warm this time but nowhere near the standard you'd expect from a 3 star let alone the 5 stars it rates itself. We had significantly better food from street markets in local towns. The only reason we give one star is you can't give zero or minus scores. If I were you, I'd walk the ten minutes into town instead.

. Dinner was pre-ordered from the menu, various items were not available eg taramasalata. The steak was tough and overdone although it had been ordered rare. The only red wine available was 50 euros. When the bill was queried the owner stuck to demanding full payment arguing the food must be returned in 3 minutes for a refund.

Well it was very hard for me to put this title, but I really fill that it was the best place. The staff and the owner were very kind, the villa was perfect...the location, the view, the pool and everything you can imagine was how it suppose to be. Definitely we will come back next year.

Very Poor service and Poor food quality! Unqualified staff that asks to whom the coffee or drink they should serve, sometimes at the wrong table. Very disappointed about the food, we ordered sea food pasta and we received just pasta with tomato sauce and a couple of non-eatable prawns heads and one clam. We mentioned it to the maitre and his response is that’s what we ordered and he treated us with his back. On top of this very poor service, we had dirty and sick cats wondering between tables, had to wait half an hour for the bill, and on top of this, we could only pay with cash. An undeserved 5 star venue! Do not recommend it.

We stayed for a week in June with our family including a three year old and an eighteen month old . The place was as lovely as it looks . It is perfect for those with young children.A lovely private swimming pool cleaned every morning and immaculate lawns with plenty of room for running around..The interactive chess was great fun. The beach was at the bottom of the steps leading down from the gardens and there are recliners reserved for the villa. It is a safe environment for young children and they enjoyed fishing for the tiny crabs on the rocks, as well as building sandcastles and swimming and paddling in the safe shallows. The villa had plenty of room for the six of us [4 adults and 2 children]and the accommodation was well planned and comfortable. The beach bar and restaurant is friendly and welcome for the nights you don't wish to walk into the town[only ten minutes but a steep hill] The villas are quiet and private. We would certainly come back here and highly recommend a holiday here.

This really is a very special place. I work in tourism and I feel that this has all of the ingredients necessary for the perfect holiday, whether you be a couple, family or group of friends. I have know the villas since it was built but never had the opportunity to stay until this week. I stayed in the large villa at the end. The bedrooms are spacious and spread out so if you are with friends there is plenty of privacy. The lounge is bright and spacious with a small kitchen and more importantly a big fridge freezer!! The airconditioning is excellent. To be honest, the villa is not as important as the gardens/pool and these are stunning!!! The pool is kept beautifully clean and has an amazing view to the beach and sea. There is a private path and gate to the beach which makes you feel very special!! The pool terrace is spacious and there are plenty of Sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a cozy hammock area and a lovely big outdoor dining table. The garden is full of flowers, banana trees, well kept lawns and feels quite private. Guests staying in the villas get front row sunbeds reserved on the beach for them and I loved going down when the beach was busy and getting a front row sunbed!! Their is super beach service and you can have drinks and snacks bought to your sunbed. The beach itself is a lovely cove and there is always a light breeze. It's wonderful watching the boats pass by and seeing the changing colours as the sun sets. The sea is so clean and. Clear and even if you don't use the beach , it's lovely coming down from the villa to swim . It's always very calm. The restaurant is excellent with a good choice of simple snacks or main meals. All cooked freshly by the chef. Good variety of Greek and other dishes. I loved that they would be bring food, ice cream and drinks up to the villa!!! I also ate breakfast there so for my entire stay I didn't buy so much as drink or food from the supermarket!!! The prices are very reasonable for a place with such a stunning location. The staff are very friendly and Michalis and Alexandra the owners are on hand if you need anything. Each villa has its own parking spaces and non residents can't get through to the villas. Even in July when the beach is busy, you don't really hear anything at the villa. It's a quiet family and couples beach and the restaurant music is very soft. The bar and restaurant closes at a reasonable time so anyone in the villas has no disturbance. Beautifully villa, on a lovely beach with great swimming, restaurant and bar on site, easy walking distance to harbour front, stunning views, perfect pool.....I can't recommend it highly enough.

Been there for swimming, beautiful setting.VERY CLEAN, VERY QUIET, low pricing on the coffees, beers. Service was excellent. Wasted my time on Bella vraka whereas I should have gone directly to karvouno beach. Dedicated parking for beach visitors. 10/10
