Great staff, lovely rooms, ideal for a quiet holiday. The private beach was the nicest anywhere in the vicinity. The infinity pool was amazing. One or two minor things - please don’t play music at the pool all day or maybe just at one end. Many people were turning speakers around so they faced away. The food was very good, but quite exotic and very highly priced so we only ate there once. It would have been nice to have a few basic options at a cheaper price. The food in the village was lovely and much cheaper. Maybe consider a few bird feeders in the trees below the pool. It would have been lovely to watch them.
Well, I think ‘Jay R’ who wrote a previous review must have been staying a different hotel. I could not disagree with his review more. The efficient and friendly staff are one of the many plus points of this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Air conditioner problem sorted immediately. Very clean and well-kept premises. We have a pool suite which is idyllic. Despite it being the height of the season there are ample sun loungers and a multitude of spots to hang out including two pools, private beach, pontoon and by the beach bar. Our rooms are exceptional. Teenagers are in a double room with two balconies. Never had such a large room. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone. Evening restaurant menu was very grown -up so we mainly walked the 15 minutes into Sivota to the many restaurants to suit pizza-loving teen. There is a steep , short hill as you leave the hotel but you can get a taxi. Hotel and pools are on many levels with some steep slopes so make sure you’ve got everything before you go down to the beach. You can hire paddle boards and kayaks from the hotel and also book boat trips. This hotel beats everywhere we have stayed in Scicily and Croatia and came very close to experiences in the Maldives. Thank you for a , so far, excellent holiday.…
So nice sorundings, great Rooms, excellent restaurants, cool beautifullly pools, clean Beach, coosy poolbar, etc. Staff are soo kind and service minded..☀️😀 a lot off posibillitys for accitivitis, watersport etc. We will be back..😎
Great hotel. The hotel is under a new management and they have renovated the older part of the hotel and added new rooms as well. We arrived at the hotel and the staff was extremely nice, helpful and patient. They surprised us (2 couples) with upgrades to suites with private pools. The rooms were modern and very spacious. Big shower. Nespresso machine. The rooms had all the amenities. Then in the balcony there was a private pool. The rooms were across an island. The view was so relaxing and beautiful. The hotel has a private beach as well. It is in a small bay and surrounded with small islands. The water is flat and it feels like a lake. Next to the hotel there’s a small island you can cross by foot in the water. The whole area is simply beautiful. Hotel breakfast was great. The village Syvota is small but has a lot of seafront restaurants. All in all a very relaxing area. Nothing but praise for the hotel and staff. Absolutely recommended and hope I’ll come again…
Wonderfully relaxing. Stunning views, fabulous infinity pool and private beach. Gardens were lovely. Staff all very friendly. Highly recommended. Felt blissed out being there and so glad we found this place to come back to.
Beautiful located hotel. Very serviceminded staff, really nice room, with a fantastic view. Rooms are cleaned every day, wonderful breakfast buffet. We loved it all and will definitely return. Thank u
This is a nice hotel. From start to finish the staff team were in the main very helpful. we asked them to arrange a taxi for us from our airport which they did - it was a fraction of the cost our tour company wanted to charge. We had a junior suite with a private pool - lovely room, large double bed with great views and one of the better sized private pools we have had. If you decide to stay here try for one of these rooms. We knew that there was a steep walk into the village of Sivota - it is really steep and we ended up having a taxi each way when we went there. Euro 5 each way and the hotel will get you one into town when you want. Our main problem was with the food. Breakfast was OK with cooked to order dishes available (we only found this out after 3 days by accident as nobody on the restaurant team had pointed this out to us). We were on a half board basis. There was a selection of 5 dishes each night only they were the same dishes each night. Unfortunately we did not get on with the fusion type cooking (Greek/Japanese? - very odd) and although the hotel tried to help us out (at a cost) this did not really solve the problem. Therefore do not go half board - take the taxi into town, have a meal at a fraction of the cost of the hotel at one of the many tavernas in the town. One final observation - the wine at the hotel was very expensive far what it was. The cheapest was Euro 20 (and not too good) and most were in the Euro 40 region. The wine in one taverna in the village was Euro 6. I know you expect to pay more in a hotel.…
We were delighted with our visit to the hotel. My wife had a birthday and wanted to celebrate it somewhere quiet and peaceful by the sea in Greece. We came across this place by accident while watching a video about Greek bays in the Ionian Sea. We decided to visit it and we were not disappointed. The hotel turned out to be a hidden gem. Our room had a gorgeous view of the bay and nearby islands. The bedroom is huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is also large with everything you need and has a very large and comfortable shower. It is cleaned daily. The staff is extremely kind and responsive. Very nice people. The breakfast is very good and varied. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and the food is delicious. However, if you expect typical Greek food, you will have to visit a tavern in the village. The hotel has a private beach with a great view. There is also a private parking. On site you can rent a boat (which we did) and tour the neighboring islands. Special thanks to the hotel management for the surprise they made to my wife for her birthday. We will definitely visit this wonderful place again someday.…
We stayed here for 10 nights in a junior suite with sea view in September. The room was lovely, quiet, good size, super comfy bed and sofa. Nice big shower with toiletries. The view was beautiful over looking the bay with the yachts moored up, great for a wine at the end of the day. Breakfast was good. Variety of hot items, pastries, bread, jams etc and the restaurant also had a lovely view over the bay, filled us up for the day. The grounds were kept nicely with lots of flowers, and various places to sunbathe and chill out - the normal pool, the infinity pool with a lovely view, a small beach with beach bar with nice seating just behind it, plus the floating jetty with sunbeds on it, great to watch the boats coming in and out of Sivota harbour. Staff were polite and helpful, always checking everything was ok. There was also a a golf buggy to transfer you and your luggage up the very steep hill outside the hotel to your coach. The hotel is about a 20 min walk into Sivota village - there is a very steep hill just outside the hotel, then downhill all the way, so we used to walk in and taxi back lol! There are also 2 other beaches within a 10/15 min walk of the hotel and various others a bit further out. We really loved our stay here and will definitely return. Would recommend it . There is only one thing that I think would improve the hotel and that is a small boat service to taxi people to and from the village, for a charge of course.…
Fabulous hotel in a beautiful part of Greece. Stunning views across to Paxos We had a pool suite which was huge and the pool was more than a plunge pool. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping perfect. We had booked with breakfast and were so pleased as the only criticism we had was the restaurant menu was a little too 'gourmet'. Greek influences but it wasn't as good as we expected. Beautifully cooked and presented but we, and other residents agreed, love real Greek food - not feta foam or cheesecake starter. But Sivota has some amazing restaurants around the harbour which we can highly recommend.
