We spent our first night on Iceland here, it was simpel and perfect. The hotel is a two hours drive from Reykjavik. The room was a bit small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved the hot tubes - surounded by beautiful nature. A perfect way to and the evening.

Fave hotel of eight that I stayed in while visiting Iceland. It was cozy and I enjoyed the experience of being on a farm. It was fun to get close to the animals and take pictures. The dogs are sweeties as well. I recommend to try the restaurant. I had the taste menu which included seafood soup and something teriyaki...

A wonderful farmhouse hotel, with locally raised food in the restaurant, warm, relaxing hot tubs and such comfortable rooms. Very large, clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our meals, pulled pork naan bread, and a fabulous burger, all fresh from the farm, were delicious. The nearby cinder cones are great for a short hike, and the views of the...

Wonderful place!! Very welcoming and helpful staff, stunning location and views, comfy room and nice furnishings. Our accommodation was one of about 8 rooms, all with bathroom and wifi, set on a quiet farm. There are two quiet hot tubs on the hillside next to the accommodation. Food was gorgeous, probably the best burger ever eaten with meat fresh from...

From the hosts, to the cozy farm rooms, to the food, this place is awesome. Want to take selfies with an Icelandic sheep? Check. Want to eat ultra fresh farm...

In the middle of a four hour drive we decided to stop at the next place we saw for a snack, and were very glad we did. We did not use or see the hotel from the inside but can vouch for the restaurant which was immaculate and served first class food. The decor is a credit to whomever the...

staff friendly. Looks like hotel just a had major redo . And looks great. kind of "Icelandic chic" (I made that up, but works). Two very nice hot tubs, a yellow lab, and kitties all add to the mix to make the hotel charming. But, here is our experience, the place is lit up and if there are Northern lights,...

Stayed here for two days recently with my boyfriend and was absolutely amazed with everything from the service, amenities, location and food. After a long drive the first day we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff that showed us to our room. The room had an electric kettle with an assortment of coffee and tea. Our room came with...

My girlfriend and I traveled through Iceland in late March and used Hraunsnef Country Hotel as our base camp for exploring north of Reykjavik. The hotel is on a farm right off the Ring Road in the middle of a jaw-dropping landscape. The room (#22) was perfect - a king bed with TV and a bathroom. The interior was very...
