We were meant to be staying in this hotel but there was a snowstorm across the north of Iceland, which meant we never made it as far as this hotel when we were meant to. I felt I should give a review though, as they were excellent with their customer service, as we cancelled on the day when we realised...

We stayed here one night. It seemed to be associated with a university which didn't bother us. The hotel and rooms are comfortable and quiet. They offer dinner and breakfast (not sure about lunch). Breakfast was good with a nice selection of cheeses, meats, coffee, tea and bread and juice. Dinner had a good selection. I had salmon and it was...

The location is so unusual, the fine old hotel situated in the middle of a lava field. Good rooms in a fairly new building. Very resonable in price. Staff is all nice and willing to help in every way. Sure worth a stop, if it is for a night or just lunch or coffee.

Me and my husband went to Hotel Bifrost because we got a great deal online. We looked at the pictures and saw a beautiful hot tub area and great food. We were really excited since I'm 8 months pregnant all I can do is eat and sit in the hot tub. When we got there the hot tub had a...

Had a good weekend with my fiance. Lovely enviroment, good food, nice rooms with a view. Good paths around the site and it's just far away enough to get away from the noise and clutter from Reykjavík city life.

This hotel had a really practical room - it was large, had a good little kitchen area and dining table, big shower and bathroom. Location is great, midway between and walking distance to the waterfall and the volcano craters. But the restaurant really isn't great. The waitress brought me the wrong dish and then claimed that what I'd ordered wasn't...

Hidden in a university camp this stop is perfect if you are travelling to Snæfellsjökul and Borgarfjörður. The rooms are good, food exilent and the service top! The Hotels get my top recommendation and I will come back.

This hotel has wonderful rooms which are whole well appointed suites. Lots of room and everything a person needs for even a longer stay. It is a great location to start a drive around the Snaefellsjokull Peninsula. The dinner was very good at the hotel and breakfast was good also. A good place to spend the night if one is...

Bifrost is not even on the GPS, but it was a good stop on our way back from the WestFjords. Nice rooms, big shower, and a kitchenette. Be careful if you arrive late, the restaurant closes after 9pm., eat before.
