Everything was perfect, staff was so kind, nice and available to suggestions and tips. They have just bought the activity and planning to open a restaurant as well. the location is great as it is not inside the small city of Borgarnes, but just before the bridge, in a quiet area with access to the beach and stunning view from...

Our room was on the small side, but felt very cozy and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was delicious, had a lot of options, and was served in a room with really amazing views. The person at reception was extremely nice, and even went above and beyond to help me with a minor car issue. There's not much...

This hotel feels like the middle of nowhere but is only a short drive across the bridge to the main town, Borgarnes. We arrived in the dark straight from the airport so we were a bit apprehensive as we approach the hotel in the dark. But as we walked in we were welcomed with a warm hello and heating! We...

This hotel hasn't been updated in probably 50 years. The first room we had, with a double bed, was so small that we literally couldn't fit the two of us in there with two suitcases. We moved to another room because the toilet was broken. The second room had two twin beds and was bigger, so we had slightly more...

Ealrier reviews of this place seem quite bad so I was wary of coming here. However the new owner has really turned it around. It is situated in a nice area just outside of Borgarnes. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are good for the price and well presented. There is a large sitting area and dining...

Very windy night with the wind whistling and knocking against the outside balcony door. We both thought we heard the other get up and go outside (neither did!). Thin walls. Photos on-line were more favorable that actuality. Easy to find, good communication. Beautiful view of mountains.

The hitel is nothing special and not good to stay there for more than a night. But for a short sleepover while on a roadtrip, it is perfect. The location is great, you even could swim in the river (100m away) if you want to. The staf was very friendly, room was quiet and clean. I enjoyed my stay.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony, with a view of the glacier. If we had stayed on the room with views of the town and with the kitchen, would have definitely received a 5 star. The rooms were very clean, and the bathroom was a nice size, with great water pressure and...

We arrived to a very friendly staff - her name is - Silver, who informed us that there other location (Hostel) had a kitchen, which was just down the road. Useful. Rooms were a little tight (slanted ceilings), but beds are comfortable. In the morning we met the owner who was very friendly and helpful with driving directions. Breakfast was...

Here's all you need to know. It's a motel in at the bottom of a big mountain with beautiful scenery. By a town that is nothing to speak of. The owner is really nice and accommodating. The motel is really cute and clean and breakfast is included and the communal area is very nice, tea and coffee available all the...
