Most rewarding hideout at the edge of BorgarFjördr. Great host Margret, unbeatable hot tub on the shores just outside the room, with full moon to light your whisky...!! On top, there is a more than fine restaurant near the small harbour, in all a most pleasant stay.

After flying through the night, it was lovely to find the Kria Guesthouse in Borgarnes, quiet clean rooms right on the water. Borgarnes is a small town, classic Iceland, and friendly people. We stayed at Kria Guesthouse, a two bedroom suite with separate bedrooms and a large shared bathroom. We were fortunate to share with two different couples, both very...

There is a hot tub on the patio with lovely views of the sea and town. There is tea and coffee and breakfast included. There are some supermarkets in town if...

We stopped here on our first night in Iceland, after a long day of travelling with a young baby. We received a warm welcome from the owner who brought us a box of toys and high chair for our baby, and gave us some great tips on where to visit and eat, but then left us to it and didn't...

The guesthouse has 2 rental units with a shared very large bathroom/breakfast area with a couch where you can watch some tv. The breakfast itself was delicious and more than enough. The hottub has a spectacular view on the bay area. Be aware , it is Iceland so it can be windy. Restaurants are closeby but not on walking distance....

Clean, comfortable, wonderful hosts. Only two rooms sharing a very large bathroom. (The rental units are downstairs. The owners live upstairs.) Hot tub available. Located out on a point, you can see the old city center across one bay in one direction and farmland across the bay in the other. The only downside to the location is that the restaurants...

Stayed for one night. The owner was very helpful and offered me and my boyfriend brochures to help us find nearby activities. The view is spectacular. It overlooks the water with a hot tub out back. I enjoyed how the breakfast was set up. It's put out the night before, and in the morning you can cook yourself eggs, pour...

There is not a better place in Iceland to stay. Peaceful, gorgeous views from either rooms. The price was incredible. The Breakfast brought to you by the Inn Keeper was huge. Wish I could have stayed here the whole time. Book early or you will loose out.

A nice guest house with views onto the hot tub and out towards the sea. We found it a little hard to find due to a road closer and were a little surprised to find it was part of a hairdresser. We received a warm welcome and information on the local area and where to eat out. The room was...

Fantastic place to stay in Borgarnes. She has two rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen and sitting area. We had the double room with the big window and view of the bay and the hot pot. Nice to have a sink in the room, nice bathroom with nice big shower (a rarity, in our experience), comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, hot...
