We just slept over at this place. Even though we arrived at 1am, the lady of the house waited up and greeted us. She showed us our room, told us about the local attractions and the rules of the house. Everything was spotless and very well stocked and efficient. There was a pc and working WiFi, we were very happy!... More

Positives: 1) Location - right in the centre of Grindavik. 5min by car to the Blue Lagoon and 20min to the airport. 2) Friendly owner - we were greeted warmly on our arrival. The owner showed us all the local attractions on the maps and recommended what was worth seeing in the area. 3) Breakfast was included in the room... More

This was our first nights stay in Iceland, and it's no more than a 20 minutes drive from Keflavik airport. There was no one there to meet us when we arrived - a message was left on a notice board outside telling us our room number, and that the key was in the door. It was a bit of a... More

This was a very friendly guesthouse. The owners took care to tell you about the Town and sights. The people we met there were from all over the world. It was fun to meet them. Good location for all the main attractions. We will go there again if in Iceland.

This B&B is well located when you arrive in the late afternoon or evening and you want to combine with the Blue Lagoon as it is just 5 minutes away. We had a very hearthy welcome from the owner who showed us where all the places of interests are located around. Guests have the living room with television and sofas... More

A really lovely guesthouse. We had a warm welcome (and tourist advice) from Bjork -the schoolteacher owner. The guesthouse has everything you need it's cheap, warm, comfortable. The self catering kitchen is a real boon. It's provided with everything you need to make your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Icelandic bottled water is available in the fridge. Cereals for breakfast,... More

I'm not sure why I decided to stay in Grindavik, sure its close to the Blue Lagoon and the airport but there isn't a lot to do here - though the owner did take the time to show me a map and point out a few things. I was there in mid-winter so the town was covered in snow and... More

The house is big and the rooms are also spacious and comfy. The decoration is quite old and the room had no TV, but that's not really a problem. There is a computer for guests and the wifi is free and correct. The kitchen was small but had everything for breakfast. This is the recommanded place to stay in Grindavik... More

This is a comfortable B&B with convenient access to the airport and the Blue Lagoon. The owners are very friendly and helpful and they have a washing machine and airing racks you can use. I would recommend staying here.

We have been camping through most of Iceland but on our last day which was particularly wet we did not fancy sorting out all our gear out in a wet campsite. We booked into this Guesthouse which is a convenient 20 min from the airport. There is a Guest lounge with large screen tv, a Kitchen and dining area with... More
